We cater to adventurous souls, with a range of adventure tourism activities in and around our property. Try tandem hang-gliding and paragliding and a full range of hang gliding and paragliding courses or just bring your own stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. All guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Featuring stunning picturesque views of the Glass House Mountains with a running freshwater creek to camp alongside. Stonesthrow is a rural property in the Illinbah valley, nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, with council approval for limited camping (4WD only - leave no trace). So if you want to escape the crowds at public campgrounds, your privacy and enjoyment are assured! We are NOT a 4WD park so vehicles must be parked up at your site on arrival and left there unless leaving the property to go to town/tourist activities. Any exploration of the property or travel to toilets is strictly on foot only- NO 4WD'ing. Anyone driving around the property will be asked to leave. There is 500 m of (shallow) creek frontage, kms of walking/riding trails and grassy creek flats for recreational activities. Over the decades, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses. There is also a variety of fruit trees and plantation timber. Caravans are restricted on where they can access- with no guarantee of sufficient sunlight for solar. Elevated/remote sites cannot be reached with a caravan- please bear this in mind if booking with a caravan. Elevated/remote sites require capable 4WD's with off-road/AT/mud tyres only and campers need to be fully self-sufficient including having their own chemical camping toilets. If you don't have your own commercial chemical camping toilet then you will be given a choice of sites with access to facilities. We reserve the right to view/verify your toilet before allowing you access to the elevated/remote sites. Well behaved dogs welcome as long as they are on a lead when moving about the property. Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. ) It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and during the summer months there are floating noodles for your use. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and canoes. We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains ( 20mins), Stoney creek (15min), Rocky holes (35min), Bribie island (40 min), Woodford (10min), Mt Mee (10min), Montville, Maleny (40min) and much, much more. We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival. "White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. Wamuran town centre has has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery, bottle shop, 24 hour servo, a rural supply shop, fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational. Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday. There is a Woodfire pizza van in town 2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them. If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away. From many parts of the farm you have a beautiful views encompassing Malenny, Glasshouse Mountains , Bribie island, Moreton Island, Stradbroke Island, Redcliffe and Brisbane Port Site. We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming, canoeing. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. ) It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and during the summer months there are floating noodles for your use. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and canoes. We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains ( 20mins), Stoney creek (15min), Rocky holes (35min), Bribie island (40 min), Woodford (10min), Mt Mee (10min), Montville, Maleny (40min) and much, much more. We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival. "White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. Wamuran town centre has has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery, bottle shop, 24 hour servo, a rural supply shop, fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational. Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday. There is a Woodfire pizza van in town 2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them. If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away. Access is possible in 2WD in fine weather but 4WD will be needed in wet weather. Guests must be fully self-contained including toilet and drinking water - no facilities provided. We ask for minimal impact - removal of all waste and rubbish is the guest's responsibility. Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times. Open fires permitted only in fire pits provided - subject to local restrictions when applicable. Firewood is available and delivered to your campsite. Please message Steve 48 hours prior to arrival if you would like firewood. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are NOT a 4WD park so vehicles must be parked up at your site on arrival and left there unless leaving the property to go to town/tourist activities. Any exploration of the property or travel to toilets is strictly on foot only- NO 4WD'ing. Anyone driving around the property will be asked to leave. There is 500 m of (shallow) creek frontage, kms of walking/riding trails and grassy creek flats for recreational activities. Over the decades, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses. There is also a variety of fruit trees and plantation timber. Caravans are restricted on where they can access- with no guarantee of sufficient sunlight for solar. Elevated/remote sites cannot be reached with a caravan- please bear this in mind if booking with a caravan. Elevated/remote sites require capable 4WD's with off-road/AT/mud tyres only and campers need to be fully self-sufficient including having their own chemical camping toilets. All guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Featuring stunning picturesque views of the Glass House Mountains with a running freshwater creek to camp alongside. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided, please check local restrictions before lighting a fire. Enjoy a fire in the evenings with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash whilst on the property and must be cleaned up after. Rosedale has cattle and is also a wedding venue. We are in close proximity to Woodford making it a fantastic spot to stay for events like the Woodford rodeo, show and folk festival.
