Off Grid eco oriented camp on 1200 acres overlooking Zion National Park. Owned and operated by Bill Wright, a rancher whose family has farmed and ranched the land for several generations. A few minutes from Zion’s backcountry trails in the Kolob Terrace Region and approx. 40 minutes to the main gate of Zion NP. Bill Wright is the father of the legendary "Wright Brothers" the family of Professional Rodeo Saddle Bronc riders. You will often see Bill tending the land and moving cattle and horses from your campsite. This off the grid ranch has some of the most stunning views you'll ever encounter. Want a little adventure during your stay? Reserve a 2-hour horseback ride with Bill. He'll finish your ride with one of the most breathtaking vistas you can find of Zion National Park. Our property features many spaced out sites to choose from with bathrooms onsite. Pets and campfires are also allowed.The Wright family has owned these 1,200 acres for 150+ years. We are now offering our open, best kept secret, avoid-the-crowds eco campsites to the public. Camp overlooking Zion National Park! Great wilderness experience
This place is amazing - right in the canyons, beautiful views, and private enough even with other campers. The views were phenomenal. Do know, due to the non-paved roads, it does take a bit longer to get in and out than Google maps indicates. There are a few porta potty locations making it convenient. Plan to arrive during the daylight so you know where you're going and you can find a camp spot with a fire ring... It may be difficult to navigate to campsite location in the dark.

Gorgeous scenery!
This campground is incredibly beautiful! You feel like you are staying in Zion and although it’s a little rough on the road getting in there, it was so worth it for the sunset alone. Loved it!

The Wright Stuff!
This place is Wright on! I found the sweetest, very private campsite, perched at the edge of the plateau, with two primo tent sites, sheltered by some mature pines, a sturdy stone fireplace, and panoramic views of the canyon country, including Zion National Park territory! And the stars! I will definitely recommend this place.

The drive to the ranch was beautiful. Once you get on the ranch there’s plenty of spots to choose from. I don’t think there’s a bad view on this property. Everything was great with one exception but it’s no fault of Bills… the bugs. The gnats/ noseeums were a bit overwhelming at first. Take some bug spray and get a fire going and it gets better. Glad I found this place. I will definitely be back.

The Zion Wright Family Ranch campground is incredible! We spent two beautiful nights under the stars staring at the red faced rocks! It was quiet and the bathrooms were clean. We would definitely stay there again!

Absolutely unbelievable, unmissable, and unbeatable. I was able to make it around the roads just fine. Bill’s directions are spot on and very accurate. Google Maps is great too. The peacefulness of this site is not to be understated, especially after a long hot day at the park! I found this site and the drive up to it to be one of my favorite parts of my Zion trip. Also, do the horseback ride. It’s so fun, and the views are epic!
