Description

Floating down the Salt River is pretty much required initiation into Arizona living. The Upper Salt River is the perfect spot for kayaking and rafting trips through some whitewater when in season. Or you could just park it on the shore and watch others float by with your frosty beverage in hand. Either is totally doable when camping a few nights at EADS Wash, a simple, dispersed camping area with no fees or reservations. Enjoy the lush Sonoran desert scenery and oasis vibes that attract wildlife and humans alike, but heads up for monsoon flash floods here, and stay hydrated! Remember, beer doesn’t count as hydration.
