You’re just steps away from a scenic overlook with amazing canyon views when you stay here. And when you head back to camp there’s lots of shade underneath the Pinyon trees, lots of privacy and a place to hang your hammock and cook up some tasty treats. Who knows, maybe that cup o’ joe is for two; quaint and quiet, this would be the perfect spot to take that special someone.

worth the weird drive. Long and easy hikes. Test your bravery by going to the rim overlook after dark

The North Rim seems practically deserted compared to the South Rim. No problem at all finding and reserving a spot. Distance but not privacy between spots. Good tree coverage though. Maybe it was just when I went, but the North Rim was extremely windy!
