Discover and reserve the best campgrounds, cabins, caravan parks, and more.
Between Ballina and Yamba along the North Coast of New South Wales, Evans Head is the gateway to two national parks and miles of sandy shores. Head down to Evans Head Beach to swim, surf, and stand-up paddleboard; drive along Airforce Beach in a 4WD; or go whale-watching in Broadwater National Park. Just south of town, there are plenty of options for canoeing and kayaking along the rivers of Bundjalung National Park, and campers can take their pick of two campgrounds, cottages, and a bunkhouse. Both Black Rocks and Woody Head campgrounds have unpowered sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, and caravans, with toilets, picnic tables, and BBQ facilities (there’s also a kiosk and boat ramp at Woody Head). For motorhomes and campervans, there’s a holiday park and cabin rentals in Evans Beach, and you’ll also find plenty of Hipcamps (some with powered sites), around nearby Woodburn, Doonbah, and Broadwater.
