The property is situated on 50 acres, with breathtaking elevated views of Mount Mee, Mount Glorious and surrounded by bush land.

The campsites on this property are positioned in the bush, so that people can have their privacy away from other campers.
 Access to all bush camp sites are with 4WD vehicles ONLY.
Sorry no caravans and only off road camper trailers are suitable, due to the terrain and the track is steep in places.

There is a creek within a 5 min drive off the property, situated at Lees Crossing Road. Also an approx 20 min drive will take you to Cedar Creek
 Falls and D'aigullar National Park.

Children under the age of 13 camp at kids prices. Well behaved pets are welcome.

We are situated approx 10 mins from the delightful Dayboro Township and approx 20 mins from the quaint township of Samford.
Brisbane CBD is approx 40kms away.

Fun Mountain

Hosted by the caretakers Jake and Claire,
Fun Mountain is a 54-acre property with three dams in Glenview, Sunshine Coast - 30 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Caloundra.

It is surrounded by State Forest and offers some great bushwalks. We have some flat areas, perfect for camping, and then plenty of terraced or hilly areas to explore, with some spectacular views out over the Sunshine Coast.

Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Dog friendly. There is tank water but we'd advise you to bring your own.

Access is via a gravel road. Due to recent weather events, an SUV or 4WD vehicle is required to access the property. Ok for caravans (flat area on entry to property) but you'd need a 4WD for the hill site turn around area.

Please do not follow the GPS to get to old Caloundra Rd, come off Steve Irwin Way to access the property.

The Rustic Resort Wamuran


 4WD accessibility only. The only exception to the 4WD accessibility is the 'Dam at the Rustic Resort' as it has a separate entry gate.

 If wet, please engage 4WD and stay out of the ruts. 

We are a 90acre private property who raise cattle and goats and have opened up to campers who, like us, prefer and love, peace and nature. 

We have all of our sites on Booking request ( Reserve). Please check that you are ok with our property rules before you book.

If you are one of our valued regulars, thank you, we love hosting you on the property and always look forward to see you again. If your preferred site is not available , shoot us a message , we  may have an alternative for you:)

Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire is fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbours. 

Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. 

Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety.

 If you are first time campers on our property, this is our philosophy.

 We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives.  We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups  ( unless you would like to book out the entire property)  

 Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush  so you will feel like you are the only ones there. 

You are welcome to have a campfire in the provided fire pit or drum when there is no fire ban in place, however due to the unique surroundings we offer, we  do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety.

You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. 

Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. 

We affectionately call our property "The Rustic Resort". This is a tribute to the rusty water tanks and dilapidated animal shelters that were left behind when we moved in. Our farm was once part of a thriving rural property in the 1920's. It used to be a dairy farm and then a banana farm. We now raise goats and cattle.  

Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. 

We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. )

 It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and during the summer months there are floating noodles for your use. Feel free to bring your paddle boards  and canoes.

We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains ( 20mins), Stoney creek (15min), Rocky holes (35min), Bribie island (40 min), Woodford (10min), Mt Mee (10min), Montville, Maleny (40min) and much, much more.

We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival.

"White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah  is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. 

Wamuran town centre has has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery,  bottle shop,  24 hour servo, a rural supply shop,  fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational.

Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday.

There is a Woodfire pizza van in town  2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them.

If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. 

Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away.

The Mango Patch

All sites have a maximum capacity of 4. Adjust your booking to the correct number of people, additional guests @ $10.00 EACH. One car is allowed per booking.

Beautiful quiet acreage in a semi-rural area amongst pineapple and macadamia farms only a few minutes from Glass House Mountains Village, Beerwah, Landsborough and Australia Zoo. 

No tent or swag camping. We only welcome self-contained motorhomes, caravans and camper trailers (No toilets provided).

The property offers easy access through a remote gate and is fully fenced. The beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast, Maleny, Montville and Hinterland hot spots are all within 30 minutes from the property.

Enjoy a campfire in our designated area when restrictions are not in place.

Small quiet dogs welcome by prior request and must be on a lead.

Warrego Warmblood Stud

Warrego Warmblood Stud is an operational horse training property set on a secluded 60 acres just outside Woodford.
There is a lovely private dam to camp beside or in amongst some beautiful trees with no one in ear shot, or you can camp in the empty paddock. Or Book a Horseback Forest Trail Ride .
Campfires are permitted within local regulations. The campsites are dog friendly (on a lead). There are no amenities here,  campers must BYO camping toilet.
Allowed small fires and some timber available in the paddocks.
Woodford is a little taste of country right on the city’s doorstep. An easy day trip from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, this quaint and quiet town is a perfect getaway destination with a little something for everyone.
The Woodford region is steeped in history and retains much of its yesteryear charm. The historic pub still stands proudly on the main road through town, while quaint turn-of-the-century buildings house quirky shops and eateries.
