Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans or leave your wine bottle in your caravan or tent/car. Bring plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. A beautiful creek descends through the 135 acres which includes rainforest that is listed as State significant vegetation. There is a deep swimming hole at the waterfall and other swimming areas up and down the creeks. You can hike to the upper plateaus that feature two ancient Strangler Figs with ocean views and a view of Mt.Warning as well as to the Bushranger Caves and lookouts higher up on the Lamington Plateau. Natural beauty is everywhere you look with mountain views, volcanic boulders and rock formations, Upland Rainforest and lots of wildlife. This is a property for nature lovers. Mobile reception (Telstra works the best), flushing toilets (ladies & gents), hot shower and campfires are permitted in designated locations - sorry no pets. The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane. At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage. Search for "Murphy's" through Hipcamp. Our sites are completely isolated from town, with views and not visible from the road. Sites are set among nearly 100 acres of a mix of open land and rainforest. Multiple natural springs exist on the property and a few small spring-fed waterholes are scattered down the cascading hills. This location is home to several endangered species due to being one of the last isolated pockets of rainforest in the area. Sites are part of The Bush Clinic where we specialise in designing and making natural creams, soaps, teas, dodorants and other products as well as running regular Meditation courses and topics such as Energy, Frequency, Grounding and Advanced Organic Growth techniques for those wanting to join in are formally available during your stay. We are new to HipCamp so have limited facilities at present, but they are in progress and we have loads of space per site, comfortable, and lots to offer for those wanting to reconnect with Nature. If you know what ley-lines are - this is the right place to visit ;-) PS if you are towing a van or camper pls remember to engage 4wd at the front gravel gate (low range 2nd is best).
