Please note there is a very small service fee added for your insurance when booking on this site The property is 5 minutes from the main street/CBD Chinchilla. Phone a taxi or take a stroll in to town to dine if you don't want to unhook or you can call and get a pizza delivered, plus the RSL & Club Hotel, can pick you up & return you, for free in there mini vans at our main gates You can paddle boat, canoe, kayak or tinny boat on the lagoons as part of your stay with us. Ruben One Hill under the gum trees, or enjoy our massive 10 metre deck over the water and watch the wildlife float around. There is also a great spot to watch the kangaroos coming for a drink and to lay under the trees. The most exciting part is, you could get lucky and see a Koala sitting in a gumtree beside your vehicle. We have seen a number of them while building this beautiful boutique camp grounds for visitors to enjoy in the western downs, Chinchilla. Please Note fire wood is $10.00 for a good size bag

Our property is located 18km north of Toowoomba, and features open flat paddock area with grass. Enjoy the evenings around the dedicated firepit (firewood is available under Extras). Children aged 10 and under camp for free. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. KOOKABURRAS KACKLE RULES TO LOOK AFTER OUR BEAUTIFUL MINI HOME 1) Beware of the ECO TOILET system. Rules of upkeep are on the wall at the back of the toilet.Please follow the instructions to care for this environmentally friendly system. 2) No smoking indoors. 3) When smoking outdoors extinguish the butt appropriately and discard rubbish in the bin. 4) Leave outdoor shoes at the door. 5) If you have visitors come and stay you must tell them to look after the place and not cause a problem. 6) Water is scarce. Please be mindful of long showers and leaving taps on or dripping. 7) A small bin is provided in the kitchen for food scraps. 8) General waste a bin is situated outside of the mini house. 9) No pets in the house at all. This will incur a fine if found out. All pets must be pets must be on a chain at all times. 10) RESPECT OUR PROPERTY PLEASE. This campsite is raising money for a midwife clinic that we run in Vanuatu.

Welcome to Kurrajong! 100 acres situated 30 minutes west of Dalby. We are also a 30 minute drive from Tara in one direction and Kogan in another direction. Kurrajong can be accessed from the Moonee Highway, the Dalby/ Kogan Road or Ducklo School / Gulera RoadsGuests can find their own campsite or use one of ours which is already set up with fire pit. If you choose to find your own camping area please keep all fires contained. All guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.Enjoy a quiet bush walk or catch some yabbies in the dam.  Guests are welcome to visit the miniature horses and join in with animal feeding routine morning and night.  Relax around the campfire in the evenings and enjoy a star filled sky.Guests are welcome to bring their motorbikes for riding in the adjacent state forest but please note there is strictly NO riding on the property. We also welcome guests to bring their horses to camp with them. We have a paddock and round yard available. Pets are welcome but dogs must be restrained near livestock. Our farm animal sanctuary is for all to enjoy.

You're welcome to experience our beautiful farmstay 'Coobindah', and enjoy your own EXCLUSIVE campsite, without the crowds! Choose from ONLY TWO campsites on eighty plus acres rural property 'Coobindah'. All campsites are well separated and not visible from each other. To enhance privacy, we take only one booking / group per campsite, therefore you're likely to have the property to yourselves. You'll enjoy peace, nature, amazing views, stunning sunsets, big starry skies, misty valley mornings amidst lovely countryside, farmland and the aussie bush. Relax under the shade of the trees, warm yourself by the campfire, or go walking or mountain biking on our farm. Each campsite has its own rock firepit, and firewood is available (quality split ironbark firewood available in 'extras'). Kangaroos, wallabies and wildlife are often seen on the property, and there's currently no livestock in the paddocks. Pet friendly, family friendly, a quiet retreat for couples / singles, or group bookings available. Old Peppertree campsite is an elevated campsite that has all weather access and is suitable for 2wd and 4wd vehicles, vans, caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers and tents. Bush Camp campsite is further down the back of the property, nearer the bush, down a hill, and is suitable for 4wd / SUV and off-road / higher clearance vehicles, vans, caravans and motorhomes, camper trailers and tents. However access is fairly easy and this is only a recommendation. Both Old Peppertree and Bush Camp campsites are spacious and there's plenty of room to setup and park. 'Coobindah' is just under 2 hours from Brisbane and is located on the Great Dividing Range. It boasts crisp mountain air and glorious views from the hills. 'Coobindah' is a great base from which to explore the Darling Downs. Cooby Dam is just 3 minutes down the road for fishing, kayaking, bush walking, picnic area and playground. The renowned Meringandan Pub is only 5 minutes away to satisfy your appetite. Picturesque Highfields village is only an 8 minute drive for town conveniences, coffee shops, gift shops, cafes, restaurants, the Chocolate Cottage, the Tavern, the new Monty Brewery (pet friendly), and Highfields Falls. We're only 10 minutes to the local winery Rosalie House, the New England Highway, and 11 minutes to the popular Cabarlah markets. The 'Garden City' of Toowoomba is just a 20 minute drive, and has much to offer, including the very popular Carnival of Flowers, held in September each year. The Oakey Army Air Museum is only 20 minutes away. Ravensbourne National Park, Crows Nest Falls, Bunnyconnellen Olive Grove and Events, and the fabulous eateries and shops of Crows Nest are only a half hour drive. Lake Cressbrook and Lake Perseverance are also nearby for water activities and within easy driving distances of 3/4 and 1 hour. We hope you can visit and enjoy 'Coobindah' for yourselves!
