Travel north to the Broadwater or south to the mouth of Baffle Creek for a scenic drive. Rules Beach is a nesting ground for several species of sea turtles, which are threatened and protected. They nest on the beach from November to March each year. Please be mindful not to drive above the high tide mark, respecting the pristine landscape. Experience morning sunrise over the beach and sunset through the treetops. Purchased in 1988 as a block of Bush, the majority of clearing was initially done with a small Massey Ferguson Te20 a long length of chain a shovel and chainsaw.Built originally with nothing more than the chainsaw, shovel, hammer and nails the log cabin that I still live in has undergone a few changes over the years but we have tried to keep it looking the same on the outside made mostly from large hardwood posts and paperbark slabs and half rounds for walls concrete floor with sunken lounge room. The hand built rock chimney is the feature piece of the front of the cabin so be sure to check it out and get a few pics.

Burrum Shores Campgrounds offers well maintained grassy sites with direct access to the beach. Access to the camp sites is via a dirt track. Accessible for 2wd vehicles with decent ground clearance and 4wd vehicles. We now have our toilets and showers completed and open. We can accept bookings from caravans, motorhomes, campers, camper trailers, tents, roof top tents and swags on select sites. Please refer to the individual site listings to ensure your camping setup is compatible with your site. Grey water must be captured in a grey water tank or a bucket and can be emptied onsite as advised by caretakers. ____________________________________________________________________________ Campfires are welcome in a raised fire pit, either bring your own or use one of our communal campfire areas. Firewood and kindling is available for purchase on arrival. You will have access to our town water drinking taps to fill your water tanks and we also have a dump point on the property. All sites are pet friendly. We ask that you keep your dogs on leash all of the time. Our only rules are that you respect the property and other guests and no generators. Our acreage block has 2 campsites with plenty of shade and some nice sunny spots with lovely views over the paddock to enjoy the wildlife and the afternoon sunsets While camping with us you will have access to hot shower and toilet, laundry facilities, large veranda and pool. The campsites are 10amp power only and town water is available. This is the perfect spot to enjoy camping on a private property and only having to share with one other camper. Only 2-minute drive to the local shops, public toilets, sheltered BBQs and picnic tables Suitable for 4WD, SUVs, Utes and medium sized caravans. However, we ask you to be mindful of the particularities of your vehicle and in wet weather conditions be moved to a higher position. No dispose of rubbish, recycling, or compost on site. Guests need to take their waste with them when they go. We only allow two bookings at the time to offer privacy and for a better enjoyment of the space. Pets are allowed, but it’s important that guests understand that they must keep their pets in their control and ensure they’re reasonably quiet during quiet hours. Please be mindful of Neighbour's and respect quiet time from 10pm until 8am. From this block guests can also enjoy a short drive to other beach towns like Bargara, Elliot Heads and Woodgate Beach. Rest @Rules Beach is a tranquil grassroots camp nestled in a natural bush setting. Enjoy unspoiled treetop views, coastal breezes, and the diverse wildlife that inhabits the surroundings. With 50 acres of natural vegetation at various stages of regeneration, we are located adjacent to 1000 hectares of crown land, ideal for bushwalking and outdoor activities. The camp is close to beach landscapes (3kms) , tidal saltwater creeks (4km), and estuaries, renowned for fishing, crabbing, and 4WD adventures. Situated near the sand track to Agnes Water, day trips are both fun and interesting. The maintained boat ramp (Flat Rock Picnic Area) is just 4 km away, providing a relaxing experience on the water. Access to Rules Beach is available during low tide only, offering opportunities for exploring rock pools and observing sea life. Travel north to the Broadwater or south to the mouth of Baffle Creek for a scenic drive. Rules Beach is a nesting ground for several species of sea turtles, which are threatened and protected. They nest on the beach from November to March each year. Please be mindful not to drive above the high tide mark, respecting the pristine landscape. Experience morning sunrise over the beach and sunset through the treetops. If you seek almost unspoiled nature, abundant birdlife, and the serenity nature offers, Rules Beach Rest is the perfect destination. A 650 acre grazing and cattle breeding property flanked by the Isis River on two sides. Located upstream from Burrum Heads and Walkers Point, boating enthusiasts can explore the river system easily and the area is known as having some of the best fishing, prawning and crabbing waterways in the south east QLD. Good access for all types of vehicles, Buxton is a small fishing town situated on the banks of the Burrum River at the southern end of the Isis Shire. It's about 20 kilometres off the Bruce Highway and upstream from Burrum Heads and Walkers Point. There is a general store, picnic facilities and boat ramp. Buxton offers a relaxed lifestyle with pleasant surroundings. Boat enthusiasts are able to explore four river systems from this village. Dog friendly (refer rules please!). Toilet available for guests to use.

Seaside Haven In The Bay

This one acre property backs onto the Dundowran Beach foreshore in Hervey Bay. It has direct access to the beach through a private walking track. It is a 5 min walk along the beach to Brennan Park which has public toilets, a beach shower, BBQ facilities and water tap. The property itself is surrounded by trees ensuring your privacy. It has a grassy flat house pad where you can set up camp or park your RV. This property is not fenced. There is no house on this property so you will have it all to yourself. The beach is constantly changing from a thin ribbon of white sand at high tide to a 1km. walk to the low tide mark. Hervey Bay is the gateway to Fraser Island, whale watching and great fishing. Within walking distance is the Montgomery Vine Forest and Arkarra Lagoon and cafe. The local foodworks supermarket, fish and chip shop, pharmacy and doctor is a short 4 min drive away. There is also a courtesy bus that will take you to the local Country Golf Club for dinner.
