We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming, canoeing. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

We will help find a site which suits your needs. We now have several secluded bush camp sites as alternatives to our more 'civilised' sites. They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others. We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. And your dog is welcome too (under control please because we value our wildlife, and no more than 2 dogs per couple or family group)! The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state. It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge. And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

Relax at your peaceful campsite and watch the animals graze around you. They are fed twice a day and your host can provide food for you to hand feed. We have a flat 5 acres with lots of well loved hobby farm animals including sheep, muscovy ducks, chickens, miniature pig and horses. We may even have lambs, ducklings or chicks, if you are lucky. Inside we have a couple of Childrens pythons that also are part of the attraction. We have an above ground swimming pool for guests to enjoy in the warmer months and lots of room to throw a footy around or what ever pleases you, as long as it doesn't disturb anyone else. Campfires are permitted when there are no restrictions in place. I have 20kg bags of firewood for $20 cash, just advise on arrival that you want some. I have fire pits here that you can move around to suit your campsite. There are no street lights out here, so remember to look up at night as the stars you can see are amazing. If you like to go spotlighting you may see a koala, possom, squirel glider, barn owls, flying foxes and other surprises. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities. Flushing toilets available soon. From September 2024. You are welcome to dispose of rubbish in my wheelie bin and i encourage recycling and there is a bag for 10 cent cans etc. We often see koalas in trees and along the rail trail, which is just a km down the road. We are also close to a spar supermarket, takeaway shop and local pub. There is a simple playground that we are always adding to in the middle paddock under the shady trees and the back paddock is the biggest area and furthest from my house. Sorry, no dogs permitted. Most other pets are allowed but just ask to be sure. If you are a horse person bring your electric fence and your horse will just be $10 extra per night to cover water costs. I have a 20 meter round yard here you are welcome to use.

Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. If you are first time campers on our property, this is our philosophy. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups ( unless you would like to book out the entire property) Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush so you will feel like you are the only ones there. You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. We affectionately call our property "The Rustic Resort". This is a tribute to the rusty water tanks and dilapidated animal shelters that were left behind when we moved in. Our farm was once part of a thriving rural property in the 1920's. It used to be a dairy farm and then a banana farm. We now raise goats and cattle. Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. ) It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and during the summer months there are floating noodles for your use. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and canoes. We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains ( 20mins), Stoney creek (15min), Rocky holes (35min), Bribie island (40 min), Woodford (10min), Mt Mee (10min), Montville, Maleny (40min) and much, much more. We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival. "White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. Wamuran town centre has has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery, bottle shop, 24 hour servo, a rural supply shop, fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational. Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday. There is a Woodfire pizza van in town 2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them. If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away. We are a very short 900m bicycle ride from the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BRVT) which is one of the must-do cycle treks in the southern hemisphere. If you or your crew need a place to stay while riding the trail then this is perfect for you. You are welcome to dispose of rubbish in my wheelie bin and i encourage recycling and there is a bag for 10 cent cans etc. We often see koalas in trees and along the rail trail, which is just a km down the road. We are also close to a spar supermarket, takeaway shop and local pub. There is a simple playground that we are always adding to in the middle paddock under the shady trees and the back paddock is the biggest area and furthest from my house. Sorry, no dogs permitted. Most other pets are allowed but just ask to be sure. If you are a horse person bring your electric fence and your horse will just be $10 extra per night to cover water costs. I have a 20 meter round yard here you are welcome to use.

The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state. It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge. And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

Kobble Creek West is readily accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting you. At this time (August 2024) the creek is dry and the lagoon is empty. Without further rains it will remain generally dry but will flow eventually with heavy downpours in the D’aguilar Ranges. Explore the trails by bike, or check out the hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek West which borders the property, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. If you are first time campers on our property, this is our philosophy. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups ( unless you would like to book out the entire property) Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush so you will feel like you are the only ones there. You are welcome to have a campfire in the provided fire pit or drum when there is no fire ban in place, however due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. We affectionately call our property "The Rustic Resort". This is a tribute to the rusty water tanks and dilapidated animal shelters that were left behind when we moved in. Our farm was once part of a thriving rural property in the 1920's. It used to be a dairy farm and then a banana farm. We now raise goats and cattle. Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. ) It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and during the summer months there are floating noodles for your use. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and canoes. We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains ( 20mins), Stoney creek (15min), Rocky holes (35min), Bribie island (40 min), Woodford (10min), Mt Mee (10min), Montville, Maleny (40min) and much, much more. We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival. "White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. Wamuran town centre has has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery, bottle shop, 24 hour servo, a rural supply shop, fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational. Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday. There is a Woodfire pizza van in town 2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them. If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. Relax at your peaceful campsite and watch the animals graze around you. They are fed twice a day and your host can provide food for you to hand feed. We have a flat 5 acres with lots of well loved hobby farm animals including sheep, muscovy ducks, chickens, miniature pig and horses. We may even have lambs, ducklings or chicks, if you are lucky. Inside we have a couple of Childrens pythons that also are part of the attraction. We have an above ground swimming pool for guests to enjoy in the warmer months and lots of room to throw a footy around or what ever pleases you, as long as it doesn't disturb anyone else. Campfires are permitted when there are no restrictions in place. I have 20kg bags of firewood for $20 cash, just advise on arrival that you want some. I have fire pits here that you can move around to suit your campsite. There are no street lights out here, so remember to look up at night as the stars you can see are amazing. If you like to go spotlighting you may see a koala, possom, squirel glider, barn owls, flying foxes and other surprises. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. If you are first time campers on our property, this is our philosophy. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups ( unless you would like to book out the entire property) Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush so you will feel like you are the only ones there. You are welcome to have a campfire in the provided fire pit or drum when there is no fire ban in place, however due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. We affectionately call our property "The Rustic Resort". This is a tribute to the rusty water tanks and dilapidated animal shelters that were left behind when we moved in. Our farm was once part of a thriving rural property in the 1920's. It used to be a dairy farm and then a banana farm. We now raise goats and cattle. Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. ) It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and during the summer months there are floating noodles for your use. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and canoes. We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains ( 20mins), Stoney creek (15min), Rocky holes (35min), Bribie island (40 min), Woodford (10min), Mt Mee (10min), Montville, Maleny (40min) and much, much more. We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival. "White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. Wamuran town centre has has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery, bottle shop, 24 hour servo, a rural supply shop, fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational. Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday. There is a Woodfire pizza van in town 2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them. If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away. Toft Endurance, a working horse stud, welcomes you to Two Tree Hill. Two Tree Hill is a magnificent property elevated above Tallegalla, Marburg, with 360 degree views of the surrounding districts. The terrain is hilly and home to approximately 100 Arabian horses. Features of Two Tree Hill include- a variety of camp sites to suit everyone- 120 acres for walking- a pergola for parties, BBQs, yoga etc.- access to a private home gymnasium and pool on requestWe are situated at Tallegalla, 5 minutes from the small town of Marburg. Marburg has a pub, a general store, an antique shop and café. Another nearby town is Rosewood, about 10 minute drive. Rosewood has most basic facilities including a small supermarket, fuel station and train station. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times so they don't disrupt the horses. We are a short walk or drive from NASH Horse Treking for those who want to do a pub lunch ride on a horse. It is a fantastic experience so Google them to book. We are a very short 900m bicycle ride from the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BRVT) which is one of the must-do cycle treks in the southern hemisphere. If you or your crew need a place to stay while riding the trail then this is perfect for you. The town of Esk and two major dams are very close by where you can browse the antique shops, waterski, or fish to your heart's content. We are also close to Fernvale where there are big Sunday Markets.
