There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property). The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace. We are a short drive from the beautiful Hell’s hole, Unicorn falls and Mavis Kitchens. Take a day trip to Byron Bay (50min) Brunswick Heads (40min) Mullumbimby (35min) Tyalgum (30min). 45mins from Gold Coast airport.

So much to see and do in the area, a short drive to the Lost World Tourist Drive and Tommerups Dairy to name a few. Further along Christmas Creek Road takes you past the Christmas Creek Cafe and onto Lamington National Park and bushwalks to the Stinson Memorial Crash Site and Larapinta Falls. Over the Creek

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrival

Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a Tiny Home in the Scenic Rim. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek to take in the views, were you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and the sun set over the mountains to the west. This fully contained cabin is approximately 30 square metres and features a small veranda out the front facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort. Sit back and relax on the bench seat or table and chairs. A larger veranda out the back faces Christmas Creek and the mountains to the west. Relax on the deck chairs and read a book, or sit at the bar and enjoy a drink while watching the wildlife. There’s a table with chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner outside.The loft bedroom has a queen bed. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. The lounge room has a couch, 40 cm TV with DVD player, small table and chairs. There’s no free to air TV channels available. BYO DVD or there’s a small selection available. No Wi- Fi There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive to the creek where you can go swimming. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by, or enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road. Phone reception is available at the cabin if you’re with Telstra. The property is 2WD accessible, but I recommend 4WD in wet weather No pets please.

Settled in 1866 by Mr. Robert Brown. The land is now used for beef cattle and a small amount of dry land hay production. We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Pets welcome however must remain on leash or tether *Please notify us if bringing a dog* Please clean up after your dog ready for the next camper. Fires permitted only in fire-rings provided. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or saw). Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

The River Orchard is a majestic 165 acres property nestled between the Oxley River and Mt Warning. The working macadamia farm boasts five campsites each positioned in different nooks with only one group booked in per campsite. Pets and campfires welcome. Hot water shower and compost toilet cleaned several times a day. The Flats Site - The Flats is an extra large site closest to the Oxley River enjoying direct water access with two levels. The first is sheltered by an overhanging sour cherry tree and overlooks the bottom plateau and swimming spot. This site is a short three minute walk to the shower shed. Riverview Site - Riverview is perched on the raised riverbank looking down upon the swimming spot and rapids. A sprawling old tree shelters this extra spacious campsite ideal for large groups. We recommend Riverview for guests with younger children as it does not have direct river access and is the closest to the shower shed. Orchard View - Situated next to the Riverview campsite, this location is close to the river with stunning views across the macadamia orchard. The Grove - The Grove is one of our cosiest sites framed by a towering tree complete with stag horns, with branches that sprawl out over the campsite offering an abundance of shade. Close to the shower shed & a short walk to the river. The Pine Hideaway - This is our most private and stunning site. It looks out over the lotus flower filled dam to mountain panoramas and a secluded island. We look forward to welcoming you.

This area also includes a small number of powered sites * TOP CAMP.. This open area is approximately another 150 metres up the hill from from midcamp, overlooking both Mid & Rivercamps, with 360deg views, has 3 large flat sites. plus many more dispersed sites, also suitable for all types of camping vehicles *Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own. *Showers and toilets are situated within easy walking distance at all camp sites *Lots to see and experience in nearby Warwick and the Granite Belt. Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet is a family friendly farm, situated on a sixty six acre (27 hectares) property that fronts Terania Creek opposite the village of The Channon, Northern NSW. The property is completely off-grid and contains 800m of creek frontage with fishing spots, a swimming hole for campers, and abundant wildlife ideal for bird watchers. Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet has recently become a community of 8 private residences that share this beautiful property. We kindly ask that campers respect the residents’ privacy, however if you spot them on the common grounds, they are always up for a friendly chat. CAMPSITE The campsite is situated on the communal grounds at the heart of Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet on flat lawn surrounded by bamboo and the sounds of the rainforest. We also have 10 raised camping shelters on offer, suitable for small tents for 1-2 people. Campers have close access to bathrooms built from eco-friendly shipping containers with composting toilets and warm showers; a fire pit, a kitchen garden to share from, an education/function center (available for hire), a common sheltered area to relax with wifi, and an equipped shared kitchen. OTHER NOTES We strictly have a no drug and alcohol policy. Due to our policy and customs, we kindly ask that no pork products enter the property, and that reasonably modest clothing is worn (shoulders down to knees covered is fine) including around the swimming hole. Please note this is not the place for partying, but a place for connecting with nature and nurturing wellbeing. We kindly ask that all rubbish is taken off the premise as there are no bins.
