Feed times have been cut back to once a day, please ask when it will be as just like us the Coo's need time out. We've just had a lovely, very patient camper, (27/4/24) Jo hand feed almost 3-month-old Lucy Moo for the very first time 😁 You'll meet Kelvin the Scottish Highland Bull, Oakley who is new mum to Lucy Moo born 5th of February and Willow, mum to Ferdinand (Ferdi) born earlier this year on the 3rd of January, so two beautiful calves to watch doing zoomies around the yard, swimming in the dam or chilling under a tree 😁 Parents please supervise your children at all times, especially near the Highlands. Baz and Nige are our Nigerian dwarf goats that are being bottle fed at the moment. Please leave your pets at your campsite, Oakley is proving to get a bit overwhelmed with small dogs etc. We have 2 dogs Jesse a blue heeler and Cane our Maremma, who are both very friendly. The Maremma dog is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog he does bark a little at night if there is a fox or something around that might hurt our animals. Cane has been very successful at keeping all our pets safe. Guest's have told us they have slept through the night no troubles, in saying that sometimes he doesn't need to bark at all. If anyone thinks the barking might be an issue this probably isn't the place for you. We now have Percy the peacock 🦚 who randomly Honks! Our Neighbours have fish farms, so you will hear the odd shot gun go off at times, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. We are very easy to get along with but excessive noise or bad behaviour will not be tolerated. Feel free to put on music and have a few drinks by the camp fire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed. Thanks for your understanding. Relax with a cuppa, unwind with a book or go for a short bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature here at our farm. Conveniently there is a dump point in at Childers at the rest area, 16 Cresent St. 6km from here. There are wonderful cafes and bakeries in Childers, an IGA and Woolworths. We are near Bingera National park, Cordalba state forest with an hour to some top snorkelling spots, also Drive passed acres of sugarcane and macadamia fields we are 45 minutes from Hervey Bay and 40 minutes the other way to Bundaburg. I. run a cattle grazing farm in Duingal, right on the Burnett River, 18km out of Gin Gin and 60km from Bundaberg. We have 100 acres of paradise with many sites to choose from, either along our 300m of Burnett river frontage or along the winding Duingal creek tucked into seclusion. For the bigger vans we have sites up on top of the property overlooking the Burnett with just a short walk down to the water. There are NO Ammenities available so own toilet is a MUST! Bring your fishing rods, kayaks and walking shoes. There's some great fishing here including barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained! Don’t have a kayak, no worries. We also have kayaks available for hire. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I suggest U bring wood for the ist night, In case it has rained & saves the hassle first up allowing U to chill out sooner 🥂 Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them. 283 acres of mainly level bush with camping sites in various locations, either in a remote bush or by the water (dams). 6 kms of bushwalking tracks with abundant native wild and bird life. Designated fireplaces and firewood available. All campsites except the Safe Haven are physically separated and reserved for a single group (either travelling alone or in company with others). The Safe Haven can accommodate up to 4 caravans/campers with a communal central fireplace by the water. A seasonal summer stream normally runs through the length of the property from January to May. During this time access to some of the walking trails can be restricted. All sites can be left unattended and secure by visitors for day trips to surrounding areas such as Agnes Water, Seventeen Seventy, the Boyne Valley or various National Parks located within 50klms. Your hosts are always present and ready to assist in any way they can. Dogs welcome. Note: Flushing toilet is located adjacent to the Safe Haven campsite.

Peaceful Bush Camp-Wrinkles

Wrinkles camp is only one site, so no neighbours, with over 10 acres to access other areas for walking or bird watching. We have horses and cattle and it is a quiet and peaceful spot to kick back and relax. Peaceful van site or can pitch a tent, with toilet, shower, lights and electricity, all under a fully paved shed with seats. Enjoy a great fire pit in front of shed, with hand made log seats. Well behaved dogs allowed on a leash, as we have dogs and other animals on property The single campsite (yes just the one site) overlooks a large dam with jetty. Horses and cattle roam around out the back. Feed the wild birds such as duck, parrots, kookaburras, and more. Just 5 minutes from Smiths Crossing for fresh water fishing, canoeing or swimming or go to Moore Park for a swim, surf or take the bike and use their great cycling paths. Other beaches close by are Miara, Norval Park and further away are Winfield, Baffle creek and the iconic Agnes Waters and 1770. All great spots to fish or crab. The Avondale Pub is 1km away with great meals and drinks, and the Bucca Pub is 10 minutes away with weekend entertainment. Jo's road house is just up the road and has all the essentials food wise with great pizzas, and fuel. Next to Jo's is an RACQ centre and mechanics. All this at your fingertips or just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet in amongst the large gum trees and native lemon scented gums. Please note: no late arrivals after 6pm please.

Camp at our farm retreat with us and our Scottish Highland Coos. We are 5 minutes out of Childers, Queensland. You will have plenty of room to yourself, there is potable water available and porta loos. We have a quirky shower facility now too made out of a horse float, this is only for guests who don't have their own shower. Now my new pets will have to be transported home on the back seat of my car 🤣 The Scottish folk pronounce it Heilen Coos... so that's how we say it. They wonder around our farm wherever they like to go including swimming in the dam....a lot in summer time. Everyone will enjoy seeing these cuties. Feed times have been cut back to once a day, please ask when it will be as just like us the Coo's need time out. We've just had a lovely, very patient camper, (27/4/24) Jo hand feed almost 3-month-old Lucy Moo for the very first time 😁 You'll meet Kelvin the Scottish Highland Bull, Oakley who is new mum to Lucy Moo born 5th of February and Willow, mum to Ferdinand (Ferdi) born earlier this year on the 3rd of January, so two beautiful calves to watch doing zoomies around the yard, swimming in the dam or chilling under a tree 😁 Parents please supervise your children at all times, especially near the Highlands. Baz and Nige are our Nigerian dwarf goats that are being bottle fed at the moment. Please leave your pets at your campsite, Oakley is proving to get a bit overwhelmed with small dogs etc. We have 2 dogs Jesse a blue heeler and Cane our Maremma, who are both very friendly. The Maremma dog is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog he does bark a little at night if there is a fox or something around that might hurt our animals. Cane has been very successful at keeping all our pets safe. Guest's have told us they have slept through the night no troubles, in saying that sometimes he doesn't need to bark at all. If anyone thinks the barking might be an issue this probably isn't the place for you. We now have Percy the peacock 🦚 who randomly Honks! Our Neighbours have fish farms, so you will hear the odd shot gun go off at times, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. We are very easy to get along with but excessive noise or bad behaviour will not be tolerated. Feel free to put on music and have a few drinks by the camp fire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed. Thanks for your understanding. Relax with a cuppa, unwind with a book or go for a short bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature here at our farm. Conveniently there is a dump point in at Childers at the rest area, 16 Cresent St. 6km from here. There are wonderful cafes and bakeries in Childers, an IGA and Woolworths. We are near Bingera National park, Cordalba state forest with an hour to some top snorkelling spots, also Drive passed acres of sugarcane and macadamia fields we are 45 minutes from Hervey Bay and 40 minutes the other way to Bundaburg. While the track around the property currently has some overhanging saplings, it's ideal for walking and exploring, unless you wish to risk scratching your vehicle. This area is a work in progress and is constantly improving. The highlight of the camp is the large, swimmable dam, perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. The property also boasts approximately 250 fruit trees and is home to Brahma chickens and roosters, adding to the rustic charm. There's a 3-kilometer walking trail for those who love to hike, and you'll find potable water and ample firewood available. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Sunsets at Agnes Water Base Camp are absolutely stunning, with panoramic views of the nearby mountain ranges. When night falls, the starry skies above are nothing short of magnificent, making it an ideal spot for witnessing astrological events reflected in the tranquil waters of the dam. This camp offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and rustic charm for your getaway.
