Embrace nature, space, and serenity! • Fire Policy: Fires are ONLY allowed during the winter months on designated hard surfaces. Once the fire rating season kicks in, no fires are permitted due to bushfire risk. So, enjoy those campfires in the cooler months when they’re needed! • Space for Gear: Wondering if you can fit your tent, gazebo, and trailer? It’s up to you! Our sites are spacious, but you must be self-contained. One vehicle per site – additional vehicles must park in the main carpark. The Scrub Campsite

Inglewood is a 130-acre property currently running beef cattle and sheep. The property has 15 acres of remnant stringy bark scrub which abuts the Heysen Trail. This private campsite is contained within the scrub although campers have access to the whole property. There are 13 bespoke sites available. The owner has the right to assist campers when choosing their site. This is determined by factors such as type of accommodation, group size. access to toilet and communal areas, weather and privacy needs. Specific sites cannot be reserved unless by prior arrangement with the owner. We offer sites suitable for camper trailers, campervans, , rooftop tents, tents and swags and pop top caravans (sorry, no large caravans). During the non fire ban period all fires must be contained in the fire pits provided. Please bring firewood if you intend to have a campfire for an extended period or you may purchase wood for $15 for 20 kgs. All bookings will be cancelled if a severe or catastophic fire is forecast by the weather bureau. Campers can claim a refund from Hipcamp A communal camp kitchen, barbecue, rain water and tables available. A composting toilet is available as is a solar and rocket shower system. Colloquially known as God's Country the property is conveniently located 1hr 20 mins from Adelaide, 14 mins from Victor Harbor, and 20 mins from Pt Elliot, Middleton, Waitpinga and Parson's beach, Hindmarsh Falls and Normanville. Other nearby localities are Deep Creek National Park, Newland Conservation Park, Springmount National Park, Granite Island and the Kangaroo Island ferry. The popular Belicious Belgium Cafe is a 60 min walk or 5 minute drive from the campsite. Walkers on the Heysen trail can access the campsite 100 metres away. (Keen Road entrance) Please note that the campsite has a no noise/music policy after 10pm. Noisy campers has been my biggest complaint so please respect others and adhere to the policy. Children must be supervised at all times. Please note that a fenced off dam is located near the campsite and is out of bounds to all children unless supervised by an adult. Rubbish must be removed by all campers as no bins are available. The whole campsite can be hired exclusively for large groups - contact me direct for booking details and costs. A wood package can be purchased for $50 the communal fire circle. The Scrub Campsite was honored to have won 1st place for best campsite in South Australia for 2024. Ideally located just a couple of kilometres from Robe on the Southern Ports Highway (road side number #4437), The Four Mile Farm offers spaces for self contained vans, camper trailers and tents in a tranquil ten acre rural setting. Only minutes to the Robe township, restaurants, cafes, shopping and Robe's famous Long Beach, The Four Mile has an abundance of wide open spaces to find a private nook to park up for a night - or a week. New facilities include a utility room and ensuite featuring a hot shower and flush toilet, located inside the front shed, as well as a new shower block with two hot showers and an additional flush toilet, just a short stroll from the camping area. (Showers are coin operated - bring a good supply of $2 coins). Bring a chair and relax round the community fire pit in the evening (fire season excepted). Watch the sun go down, the moon rise and spent the evening around the fire, star-gazing at the southern sky. If you'd like a night out in town, Robe Runner Shuttle offers a service to and from The Four Mile.

By camping here, you can expect a premium level of privacy separation between sites with your experience coming before profit maximising in our eyes. We have sites to fit all sizes with our largest and most separated being site 7. Overall we aim to offer the most authentic camping experience for all. Firewood collection is prohibited. Land owner may do camp site inspection at anytime. Land owner has the rights to evict if you are not following our rules. On requesting a site you will be asked to read the conditions and provide some details including vehicle registration and full names. This is seperate to Hipcamp and requested by the property owners on each booking.

Pindari Park

Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre cliff top property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence. With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). If we are fully booked we will open up our cliff top fire pit near the cottage for all to enjoy (Contact Us Prior to booking). During October and November the cottage gardens are open to the public (Contact Us Prior for open days), with over 130 roses, many native trees and other plant varieties, you can wander around the gravel paths of our numerous our garden rooms and the orchard. Take a drive into to Morgan (9 kms) and visit the Old Wharf Port and the Landseers Museum or catch the Cadell Ferry and head across the river to visit the Spook Hill Winery or to use the local boat ramp. Notes: - Cliff-top property, may not be suitable for young children. Caution to be taken at all times. - NO River Access. - NO dumping of rubbish. - NO dumping of toilet waste, nearest dump points are located in Morgan and Cadell. - Pets/Dogs – must be on a lead at all times. - Nearest Boat Ramp – Cadell. - Cadell and Morgan both have fuel distributors and general stores.

Caravans and large motorhomes are suited to The Paddock site. The Paddock is an open site near the tourist shop. Perfect for larger set ups and great for solar. You are free to watch the camels in the paddock from behind the fenceline. If you are after a more up and personal experience with the beautiful beasts, you can book a Morning Milking Tour or a Camel Safari in our electric buggy. We will be carrying on daily jobs such as camel feeding, building, training etc. Guests are welcome to participate in daily farm life if they choose to! Welcome to Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, a privately-owned conservancy focused on providing habitat for native animals to live in the wild. Since 1997 the Sanctuary has worked to conserve and protect the natural resources within its boundaries, especially the native Australian flora and fauna. We have a BEACH camp site available that offer spectacular ocean views of the wild south coast. Campers will have access to a pit toilet during their stay. There is a 2 night maximum stay. You will find plenty of sightseeing opportunities and interesting places to visit within easy reach of Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Although much of the western end of Kangaroo Island was severely impacted by the January 2020 bushfires, the uniquely Australian story of rebirth and regeneration after fire is compelling. Much of the western end of Kangaroo Island is covered in parks and reserves and it is often referred to as the natural end of the Island. You will find large areas of pristine natural bushland, numerous native wildlife, spectacular, rugged coastal cliffs and beautiful seascapes and beaches. Throughout the wilderness areas you will also discover old buildings and ruins which have been preserved because of their historical role in the development of the island. And if that is not enough to hold your interest, you can swim in the bay, fish from a sandy beach, dive some ship wrecks, surf some big waves, go sand boarding or go bush walking, Whatever your interest, you will find plenty of things to do on your next holiday at the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. FLINDERS CHASE NATIONAL PARK The Flinders Chase National Park covers much of the western end of Kangaroo Island. The park has a diverse range of wildlife including Platypus, Kangaroos, Koalas and Cape Barren Geese. Flinders Chase offers stunning coastal landscapes, vast areas of wilderness and a variety of recreational opportunities. There is a network of walking trails throughout the park providing you with numerous bushwalking opportunities. REMARKABLE ROCKS Remarkable Rocks is an impressive cluster of sculpted granite boulders perched on a huge rounded granite dome that drops steeply away to the surging seas some 70 metres below. ADMIRALS ARCH Admirals Arch is a spectacular archway formed by the relentless waves pounding the cliffs and cutting a path through the cliffs. There is also a colony of New Zealand Fur seals that bask on the rocks below Admirals Arch. Plus so much more to see and do! Limited phone reception. Sorry, no pets.
