Virginia and Rick's place was absolutely AMAZING... so peaceful with incredible surroundings, private, spacious, easy to find and beautiful land to explore. Definitely did not disappoint. We stayed 3 nights at site 1 and it was the perfect city getaway... Rick, V and their family were so lovely, friendly and helpful.. the perfect hosts. The compost toilet was such a brilliant set up, probably the nicest camp toilets I've experienced. Highly recommend this place to anyone, we will be back again!!

This was our first experience with Hipcamp and our expectations were high. Helen greeted us on arrival and showed us several camp sites , she check on us from times to time to see if we needed anything , all was good. The setting was quiet and rural with the odd cow saying hello. Our dogs loved the location for walks and we found it perfectly central to local district sights and attractions. Great time had. Virginia's and Ric's property is perfect, only 5 sites spread generously across a large area ensure each camper can enjoy this majestic environment. Some great ingenuity with their composting toilet, plenty of space site and amazing views. Not much more to add to the exisiting positive reviews.

This is our third stay and this time we took the whole extended family for Easter. Beautiful setting, caring hosts and high quality amenities. Suited our group with the option of staying in the flat for the non campers in the family. Starlit nights around the campfire and being able to have our dogs close by, safe to run around made it memorable. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place. Sale is beautiful and so is this caravan park. The owners were absolutely perfect. Putting the customers (us in particular) experience first and foremost. So polite. So relaxed and professional all at the same time. We will definitely be back and we were all sad to leave especially the kids. Other campers were super lovely too. Kids learnt how to ride their bikes on their own and so many other campers were encouraged them and congratulating them when they got the hang of it. A Quiet, relaxing family orientated park with owners you couldn’t wish more of. And they even walked around and handed out Easter eggs for all the kids. Amenities were clean. Showers worked great too. See you soon Sale. Also pets welcomed there and not an ounce of trouble from other dogs.

Weekend Trip to Millers Farm "The Hills are alive"

Great stay with two young kids. Kate and Darren are super generous with their time and property - taking the time to show us and the kids all the animals. Kids loved feeding the alpacas, goat and horses. Meanwhile we got to camp right next to sheep, chickens and ducks. Toilet was super clean and owners had fire wood for purchase (super useful when you run out!). Highly recommend this spot for any type of camper but particularly for those seeker a quieter option. Toilet was super clean and while we didn’t need the camp kitchen it’s absolutely an amazing addition for those without caravans (fridge, toaster, kettle, tea, coffee and a fridge!).

We had a wonderful experience camping at Milleara Garden. From the moment we arrived, Helen was incredibly friendly and attentive, promptly answering all our questions as we navigated our first adventure into off-grid camping. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with lush greenery and vibrant flowers creating a serene atmosphere. It felt like a peaceful retreat, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life, and the tranquility was a refreshing escape from the constant noise of traffic.

We recently stayed at Sale Caravan Park and couldn't be happier with the experience – especially for our young children! The park is clean, quiet, and incredibly family-friendly. The staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our kids had an absolute blast – there's plenty of open space for them to run around safely, and the play area kept them entertained for hours. The park layout made it easy to keep an eye on them while still being able to relax ourselves. Facilities are clean and well-maintained, and it's great having the shops and local attractions nearby too. Whether you're staying in a cabin or bringing your own van, this place is a gem for families with little ones. We'll definitely be back!

We had an awesome time at Sale caravan Park.. we setup at the powersite area which was close to the amenities that was clean and convenient when our kids needed it.. Highly recommended if you needed to get away from Melbourne to explore the fresh air. Plus the town was close by if needed to enjoy scenery such as the botanical garden.. will definitely come back in the future.

We absolutely loved camping in our swag on Site 4. The view was breathtaking, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. Clear directions and excellent signage made everything super easy to find. Even with other campers nearby, the site felt private and peaceful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic and relaxing getaway.

Weekend Trip to Meeniyan Green Acres Campsite

The site was really nice, with open views and flat ground - the land was perfect for us tent campers (group of 8). The picnic table was very convenient, and Christine was very responsive and helpful. We had a lovely stay, and would recommend. Note the site is relatively close to a main road, and there is some minor road noise, but nothing too bad.

We also allow campfires only when fire restrictions aren't in place - which is often all summer. Children under 3 are free, but for insurance purposes, please mention them in the comments. Day visitors are $20 per person, which incudes a donkey patting session. This property has an overall capacity to ensure that our number of visitors remain low. This not only ensures that campers recieve the space and peace they look for in a campsite like this, but also so that we can ensure the bathrooms can be kept clean and not overloaded. This is also a part of our COVID safe plan. Due to this overall capacity it is important that you book for the number of people that you intend to have stay, as while we try to accomodate increases to booking numbers, they are not guaranteed unless booked. The river is ‘swimmable’ (at your own risk), a lovely spot to cool off on our warm summer days, or a mesmerising place to sit, watch, read, contemplate, draw or write. It awakens the creative juices to be in such beauty in nature. Some large old Mountain Ash remain along the river bank, with lots of new plantings. It is not uncommon to see an echidna, a variety of stunning birdlife, and on dusk, maybe a wombat family. As we only take one booking at a time you will enjoy exclusive use of this peaceful space. A maximum of 4 vans on River block and 2 on adjoining paddock, in one group. Our river block can hold up to 4 caravans (under 10 metres) and a couple of tents in one group (one booking). In addition, the upper adjoining block can accommodate 2 caravans. This is a single group occupancy site so you can enjoy the privacy of your group. If you wish to hook into our powered site, please add $10 per night, per van. All campers will also have access to our Casa Cucina gorgeous eclectic, quirky community space to sit in out of the weather. Please note: This is not an accommodation space. Our empty and unused dairy has space available out the front for up to 3, fully self contained vans (no tents) Located on the edge of the picturesque town of Buln Buln postcode 3821 (not Moe) take in views of rolling green hills and heritage listed oak trees while the gentle cattle and sheep graze nearby paddocks. We have access to power and river water on all three sites (not suitable for drinking) but no toilet so your vehicle must be fully self contained. One site is a drive through concrete slab, the other two are grassed sites. The grassed sites are next to each other and the slab site is on the opposite site of the driveway. There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north) 10 minutes drive to the larger township of Warragul. Firewood and eggs from our happy free range hens can be provided for an additional fee. Please only use the provided fire pits and no fires are allowed on total fire ban days. There is no access to the main house or paddocks unless accompanied by the property host. There is some traffic noise during the day but the nights are peaceful. Dogs are welcome but please ensure that they remain on leads at all times. Each site is limited to one vehicle and van or single campervan. Should you have a larger group and want to bring additional vehicles please book an additional site. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us.
