A small secluded paddock nestled at the foot of the hill on a bush block about 3km from the historic village of St Albans, the property provides an easily accessible bush escape from the hustle and bustle of Sydney, and a great camp from which to explore the local area. The Mountain Shack
What a hidden gem! We had a great time relaxing by the fire, exploring the property, and just chilling in the cabin. Full of rustic charm and character. All your basic amenities on-site, even a warm comfy bed and hot shower. We have a rescue dog who can be reactive, this was the absolute perfect spot for him, no people, no dogs, no triggers (although there are some Roos down in the paddock as you drive in). Across the road a few hundred meters down is a beautiful swimming spot where you can put your paddle board in and go for a cruise down the river. All in all we had a 10/10 experience and can’t wait to become regulars. Thanks Helen and Steve for hosting us 😊
