Aurora View
Perfect (as always)
Third time back.
Love it.
Was a bit windy this trip but we were prepared and the huge amount of fire wood (cheap) helps make it an authentic off grid experience.
Our dogs love the freedom.
Matt’s a great host who is generally on site at some point if the trip to help with anything you may need.
We’ll definitely be back.

Aurora View
Our second time here and we love it! Aurora View has vast sweeping views, soft ground for pegging and easy access. As it is on the top of the hill, it is exposed so just need to be prepared for it. Great having a camp table, drop toilet and very well defined firepit. We ordered firewood and had plenty for our stay. Never saw anyone else apart from some campers coming in on our first night. Saw kangeroos, wallabies and wedge-tailed eagles (huge!!). Planning to come back again to check out the other sites!

True Camping
Matt was great to deal with through the process and met us and got us into the site. It's a true camping experience, a drop toilet and that's it. But if you can go offgrid, this place is perfect, great views, close to Jenolan Caves (they were shut when we were there) and not far from Oberon and Katoomba also. There were other groups on the property, but the sites are far apart so you never saw them unless they were driving into their site. Very relaxing!

Beautiful Aurora
Fantastic property with beautiful scenery, the level, large camping area is perfectly situated with the big table and nearby toilet much appreciated. We had sun, mist, rain, clouds and wind during our stay, Aurora View is an Australian outback camping escape we all loved an easy drive from Sydney. Thank you so much Matt and give Wolfie a pat, he's wonderful too.

Secluded & Amazing Views
Amazing spot, so secluded. We loved the bush walk up to the top of the hill, amazing views over the surrounding valley. Even saw a family of pigs & piglets running through the field! Our dog had a great time at the site. Drop toilet to ourselves was nice. Would recommend having a 4WD to access & some maxi tracks to level up if you have a rooftop tent, the site is on a slope - we will definitely be back!
