Binghi Station Located approximately 4.5hours from Brisbane, Queensland, or 1.5 hour drive west of Tenterfield, New South Wales. Binghi Station, once a large sheep station, was a thriving tin and gem mine from the late 1800 to mid 1900. Set on 4,000 acres of natural granite rock country and untouched overgrowth of lush tea tree bushlands, the sheer beauty of the land will, without a doubt, leave you breathless of its raw natural beauty. Binghi Station surrendered to the ravaging bush fires of 2019, however, after this devastation came some much needed rainfall which brought hope; the creation of new life in the form of rich, vibrant green country not seen since the 1980’s. You can explore endlessly on this raw outback property. Discover secret hideouts, come and enjoy a swim under our flowing waterfall (for those brave enough to during the winter months!) and simply relax and soak in pure wildlife beneath a million stars in the night sky. Binghi Station is designed for the 4x4 enthusiasts. In other words we strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry 6klm driveway is rugged and very bumpy in most places due to heavy rain fall past 12 months. Please ask for more details if necessary should you have any concerns based on your equipment. Its an ongoing maintenance. The Secret Gorge site is suited to swags, tents and camper trailers. It is not suited for Caravans over 15' due to a tight corner. Other site locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers. Binghi Station - an extraordinary place to make some truly wonderful family memories. :-)

I can’t recommend Binghi Station high enough… amazing swimming holes with picturesque back drops the most welcoming hosts that certainly look after you and make sure your stay is a great one … from the front gate the adventure begins 4WD definitely recommended here which is one of the things that attracted me to this place … clean toilets at all sites and a nice hot shower at the Secret Gorge site where I stayed ..you wouldn’t be disappointed no matter which site you stayed at on this property ..such a beautiful place .

Hidden paradise
Absolutely loved camping at Binghi Station. Adrian was super fast at replying and making sure we had what we needed. Definitely 4WD access but once you get there it’s stunning. We didn’t miss a sunset or sunrise it was spectacular. The waterholes to swim in were as if it was our own private island as you have the whole area to yourself. Big fires in the fire pits, toilets and showers (showers at one site) Couldn’t fault it and our pup enjoyed her stay just as much as we did, will definitely be back.

Jump'n Rock
This property is beyond beautiful, we were constantly commenting on how perfect everything was, there are so many options for swimming, we loved exploring the different areas and climbing the rocks. Everything is really well thought out and set up. Adrian and Oratai are such amazing hosts and so accommodating, the firewood was already set up for us when we got there which was such an enormous help considering how late we arrived, the festoon lights created such a nice vibe and helped us find the camping spot easier. We came here for our birthdays and we found it incredibly relaxing and secluded, we loved every minute of it couldn’t rate this enough, we will definitely be back next year!
