Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home in nature — including real toilets, showers, and kitchen.
Unplug and unwind in nature. The “Cabin” is a very private self catered cabin built from Norwegian pine. It is set on a rural retreat of 100 acres that backs on to natural rainforest with views to the surrounding forested hills.
Sit on the covered veranda and experience serenity. The retreat features cleared paddocks, accessible crystal clear flowing river, bush tracks and forest expanses. Please note that the property is not suitable for babies and children.
The property owners are on site but away ( 100 m) from the cabin which will allow for total privacy
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay including gas cooktop, microwave and outside Weber BBQ.
Relax and unwind in our oversized bath with rain shower and the sounds of the rainforest.
As we are in a heavily forested area we do not allow any open fires or fire pits on the property.
Access to the cabin is via a creek crossing in to our property. A 4WD or SUV is required. If you come by car you can park behind our front gate and we are happy take you across in our 4WD. Our guests have full access to the property and its surrounds.
Things to Bring
• As we are 30 minutes to the nearest town we would suggest that you do your grocery shopping along the way either in Macksville, Nambucca or Bowraville.
• “Rivershoes” for the river if you want to wade or swim in the river on the property.
• Swimmers, sturdy walking shoes and hat.
Things Provided
• We supply complimentary tea, coffee, milk, sugar and condiments (salt and pepper, oil and vinegar). There will also be some fresh eggs (when available from our chickens!)
• All linens and towels are provided
