Blue Hole Riverside R&R (via Castle Doyle Rd) is located 10 minutes out of Armidale and provides sunny, cleared acres to camp by the riverside with peaceful surrounds and total relaxation. Easy access to the river to swim, fish, kayak or canoe. A short two minute drive to the beautiful Blue Hole Picnic Area and Gara Gorge offers swimming, picnic seating, BBQ and bush walking in a scenic bush setting. Armidale is home too many gorges and national parks like no other region. Dangars falls is a stunning waterfall with a picnic area. This rural property suits self sufficient campers only with own drinking water and shower/toilet amenities. All campers must take their rubbish with them leaving no trace - no bins provided. Take your time to relax by a fire and enjoy the serenity! The "Reynella" Hut is now available to stay in. This well appointed, fully renovated hut is a studio with a queen bed, lounge area, tv, kitchen, bathroom/laundry, front deck with a bbq and views to die for!! This provides all the luxuries with a rustic charm embracing a peaceful getaway with a magnificent outlook.

Site 1 - Blue Hole Riverside R&R
Booked last minute for an overnight stay in a tent. Kelly was a very responsive and lovely host! The site is a big field by the water and absolutely beautiful. The water was a bit low at this time of year but still a nice retreat from the heat.

Site 17 - Blue Hole Camping
Peaceful and Relaxing!
We had a great last minute stay in our van overlooking the river. Peaceful, beautiful outlook, great areas to walk and relax by a fire at night. Kelly, Shane and Jack were awesome hosts, friendly with great communication. Looking forward to staying again, when passing through the area 😊

Breathtaking views
We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Hole Riverside Camp. The view was breathtaking and peaceful. The hosts were a lovely family who were very accommodating. For a small charge they drove us to and from the Cold Chisel 50th anniversary concert, supplied firewood and made everything so easy for us! Highly recommended!

Picturesque Views
I can’t recommend this stay enough. We arrived in our motorhomes and was directed by Shane the owner to a lovely large flat grassed area overlooking the green valley and river, the views were absolutely outstanding. Kelly the owner was so welcoming as well, they really go above and beyond to make your stay a fabulous one.
