Spring Dam
Greatt campsite!!
We'd highly recommend Cath's place to anyone looking for a quick getaway whilst not looking to travel too far away from the city, the campsite was so well set up and maintained! We had the entire space to ourselves and the amenities were kept very clean and tidy. Awesome turf for tent set up, lifesaver of a shed for the rain, there are also very good walking tracks which start from the camp spot. Will definitely stop there again.

Rainforest vibes
Was a perfect spot surrounded by trees and ferns really made you feel like you were in a rain forest. The composting toilet was clean the site was completely private. Heaps of fire wood was provided and large decking areas which was useful as it rained most our stay. They do have dogs that jump up all over your car which upset my very protective Rottie but cath made sure the dogs didn't come intrude on our camp site.

Thoughtfully laid out and a lot of work put into it to make a lovely camp site in all types of weather. The covered deck is a great spot to sit and watch the rain fall. There are even walking tracks to explore, but we didn't finish them due to wet weather.

The camping facilities were amazing - undercover areas, tables, chairs, clean water and a smell-free toilet. Having the dam and rainforest walks right next door were also great.
Dogs on arrival jumped on the side of the car (leaving some scratches) and also visited the camp site a few times at night which made us a bit uncomfortable with our own dog and kids around (even though they were friendly dogs). Heaps of leaches at the camp site and also on the rainforest walk.

Cath’s space provided a little getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city life whilst also not being too far of a drive away. We had the entire space to ourselves and the amenities were kept very clean and tidy.
Our dog got along very well with Cath’s dogs - Plum and Taku - which made everything all the more easier. The walking trails were an easy hike for both ourselves and the dogs; with plenty to space for them to run about unleashed.
Overall, we’d highly recommend Cath’s place to anyone looking for a quick getaway whilst not looking to travel too far away from the city and cannot wait to be back!

Quiet and secluded spot
Amazing camping spot. The whole site would be available for your exclusive use, no fear of noisy parties nearby.
Spot feels very secluded as there is some drive from the main property - you will not hear/see your host after they meet you.
Host was very friendly, showed us everything.
There are many big dogs at the property and they will run towards your car when you arrive, but they are well behaved and very friendly. We didn’t have any issues with them. One dog came next morning to our camping spot, but he just wanted some company :)
There are also very good walking tracks which start from the camp spot.
Highly recommend, will definitely stop there again.
