Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Sara 0435 614 243 Please be respectful of neighbours and do not fly drones over private property.Nestle into the camp site and enjoy distant, filtered views to Bunga Beach, a cooling coastal breeze and protection from the cold southerly offered by the forest south of the camp. Enjoy a camp fire in the fire pit provided. Take a walk or short drive further along Goalen Head Rd (Wrens Rd) to stunning Bunga Beach. When the southerly swell hits this is a great surf beach, otherwise watch out for rips and enjoy a beach swim or walk along Bunga beach north to Murrah or Bunga lagoon for a beautiful calm swim. Spot numerous kangaroos and wallabies as well as goannas, wedge-tail and sea eagles and sometimes whales.

Will be back :)
Access: easy to get to, well marked. About 20 mins away from Bermagui and bega. Accessible with RV, but roads are a bit windy on the way there The site: Great little spot. 3 sites that are quite close to each other, I would imagine if they were all booked out you would have maybe 10m between sites. We were the only ones there so had the place to ourselves. Mark lives in the shed down the road and we mostly never saw him except when he drove back and forth from his place, which wasn’t that often. Toilets are excellent. Pet-friendly: great for dogs, nice space to run around Communcation: very timely and helpful. Lou was great in allowing us to extend our dates last minute to account for some weather Pros: great spot, good amenities, toilet Cons: if other sites are booked you may not have much privacy to yourself.

Paradise
Peaceful spot with ocean glimpses and plenty of nature and wildlife around. Lovely flat sites with access to toilet and fire pits. Owners were very helpful with tips about the local area and we met plenty of locals at the beach down the road also more than happy to share their local knowledge and even limes!

Bunga Summit
Great long weekend spent at Bunga Summit. Weather was wild and wet but the site was nicely protected from the wind. Roaring fire and the marshmallows were a hit! Amazing coastline.
