IMPORTANT: Please read this and our site descriptions/rules before booking! N.B. We do not accept children under 8 years of age. Our check-in period is 2 PM to 5.30 PM. If you are unable to arrive within this timeframe then you should not book with us. We do not have staff available to deal with early or late arrivals. ALL bookings MUST be made AT LEAST 24 hours in advance. Our campsite facilities are basic and best suited to self-contained campers. We DO NOT provide general toilet or ablution facilities. However, we do have portable toilet and shower units available for hire (see under Extras). We are a 55 hectare alpaca & llama stud & sugar cane farm, just off the Pacific Hwy, on Harwood Island, in the Clarence River. Our extensive and carefully-maintained pastures offer a wide selection of peaceful, private campsites. There are also numerous small stands of natural vegetation providing shade and shelter. In close proximity to us are shopping centres, surfing beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty. We operate as a cottage industry, processing alpaca fleece & manufacturing products from it. We regularly conduct tours & maintain a small farm shop. We also offer a full range of home-cooked meals. NOTE: If you book Extras or Meals you choice of campsites will be limited.

Unpowered Paddock Campsite
What an experience ❤️
This was such an incredible experience. Rob was so generous in educating me about the alpacas and lamas. I loved feeding them and just camping near them. I camped out the back and had it to myself as I watched the sunset. Would highly recommend!!! also close to Yamba and Maclean

Had a wonderful stay at the Alpaca farm. Kathleen and Rob were very friendly and welcomed us with the Alpacas. Would book it again.

Unpowered Paddock Campsite
Camping with Alpacas and Llamas
Lovely spot and outlook. Very sheltered from the strong winds. Rob and Kathleen were great hosts and we enjoyed looking around the farm. Alpacas and Llamas were good company.

Fab location, quiet, green & shady!
What a peaceful and beautiful location. We visited in February, and despite being summer, everything was so green and shady. Helpful and friendly hosts that are on hand if you need them, but otherwise give you your own space. Lovely big trees, and friendly Llamas and Alpaccas. We chose based on the location - as we wanted something close to the highway for our southbound drive. Called into the nearby town MacLean on the way out - cute!!

Up close with the alpacas
Loved this place. We were the only guests and had a beautiful spot on the property. Our hosts were very accommodating and we were given a lot of information about the alpacas and were able to feed them and get up close. The property was relaxing and we really enjoyed our stay there.
