Elm Grove Sanctuary provides the perfect environment for a digital detox. Visitors are welcome for family holidays, wedding receptions, and retreats, with cabins and camping options Set in the picturesque Goobarragandra Valley, 28 kms east of Tumut, we are surrounded by Kosciusko National Park with spectacular mountain scenery. There's plenty to do while visiting: fishing, bushwalking, swimming, stargazing, picnics, campfires or just sitting under an Elm tree with a book. We have Campsites by the river with a simple camp kitchen and basic toilets available. These sites have easy 2WD access and space to turn a caravan around. We have dogs, and are a Dog friendly campsite. (We also have chickens, so if you bring a dog, please make sure that it is going to be friends with our chickens, or kept on a leash.) There is no mobile reception, so you will not be disturbed by the outside world when you visit paradise.Welcome to Elm Grove Sanctuary community. We are a gathering of like-minded families living simple rural life in community. We love the land and aim to be as self-sufficient and organic as possible.  We have campsites available at our picnic grounds by the banks of the Goobarragandra River. If you're looking for a digital detox or a secluded getaway then this slice of paradise might be just the place for a weekend away.  Enjoy swimming in the fountain of youth, the joining place of two rivers, the Peak and the Goobarragandra. It includes a BBQ area and a wood-fired pizza oven.  We have composting toilets (no shower), and we are dog friendly. We are a family friendly farm, wanting to share our land with other families.

Goobarragandra river goodness
Nice grassy flat campground located on Goobarragandra river. Epic views over the mountains and the valley. Some great facilities like outdoor oven and toilets. Friendly local dogs come for a pat and a treat. Great couple of days spent in magnificent country.

Elm Grove Sanctuary Campsite
Beautiful spot and lovely place to go for a little tech-free detox. I wish it was a little more obvious this was a catholic village though as people like me with major religious trauma don't deal too well with that. It made me afraid to talk with the hosts and I felt quite uncomfortable in the space. Aside from that it was a lovely spot and my dog also really enjoyed his time there.

Excellent location.
One of the most magical locations, especially at this time of year. Felicity came down and introduced herself, and was very welcoming. The only downside was upon arrival the precious campers had left a lot of rubbish in and around the fire.

Camping with our dog
Beautiful location close to the river. Plenty of space to spread out & unwind. Caught a rainbow trout & black fish on our first night! Our dog made plenty of furry friends & enjoyed being off leash to explore & swim. Stayed 2 nights but wish it was longer.

Hidden gem
Location is spectacular, a little hidden gem. After talking to some friends the price is hexy for what you get compared to other locations. Male toilet is an accident waiting to happen with a rusty can already patched.
