Cabin at Valleys End
Spacious, Peaceful, Isolated
Peaceful, isolated, grand, spacious, well maintained. We loved the set-up of the cabins. Great, large main cabin for the kitchen, dinning, living room, with indoor fireplace. Fridge was on the smaller side, but enough for us. Kitchen well appointed with most things you'd need.
The wrap around deck was divine. Gorgeous views. We spent our last morning just hanging out on the daybed, drinking our teas. No phone reception, and wifi is slow, but perfect for disconnecting.
3x Bedrooms are large, light filled bedrooms, but note there's no curtains. Sun rises over the mountains, so you won't have direct sunlight too too early, and also less privacy if you'll be visiting with friends or inlaws. Master bedroom had a good bathroom, the main shared bathroom was adjacent, and then a bonus, open bathroom under the house which had great views over the valley.
Loved that our dog was allowed indoors with us (she's very well trained, and we sought prior approval, and not allowed on furniture).
The two swimming holes on the property were lovely! A little cold this time of year, but a fun adventure to find them and get in for a quick dip. We had the whole house / yard area to ourselves, and the swimming holes all to ourselves.
Wifi was slow, but good enough for us to stream a movie on our laptop (buffered maybe twice). Bring a HDMI cable, Chromcast, etc for the TV if you want to stream from your laptop. The DVI/HDMI cable provided didn't suit laptop we had.

Jaya's Camp
Such a beautiful spot! Quiet and secluded, the host is lovely to deal with. Super handy having the bathroom just a 5 minute walk from the site.

The Old Post Office
This site was fabulous for a quiet getaway with the family. Lots of room for the dogs and kids to run around. The camp-site was clean and exactly as described, although the waterholes were slightly tricky to find. The toilet and firewood were a bonus!

Excellent Camping
The countryside and creek were beautiful. Loved that the firewood was provided, and JB was so helpful. We loved our stay and our three boys had a fabulous time chopping wood, making fires, dropping a line in the creek and riding their bikes.

Cabin at Valleys End
Such a beautiful bush retreat, so quiet and the birds are magical. The cottage itself is an architectural work of art and is filled with timber paneling and hand made furniture. There are so many lovely places around the verandah to enjoy the view. We had a wonderful time cycling along nearby Saw Pit Creek Rd. We were very grateful to JB for her helpful messages and for keeping us well stocked with firewood throughout the stay. The separate wings for sleeping and kitchen/ living make it a great option for a group.

Honeymoon Flat
Open space and a running stream
Lovely open space with a stream running near by. JB had a great fire place with chopped wood and near by donkeys to say hello too.
Great spot for the night. Near by toilet, shower, wifi. Only a 2min drive away.
