John is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
We have 250 acres in the Chichester Valley, we grow chemical-free vegetables and farm cattle. We have campsites on the Chichester River and we are in the water catchment area for the Chichester Dam. Suitable for caravans, camper trailers, tents, motor-homes etc. Good access, 4WD not required & plenty of site options. There is no mobile reception here (unless you climb the hills!). Dogs are not permitted due to livestock. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, Firewood not available at the moment. Tank water available at the house if required. No amenities so campers must be self-contained and leave no trace. There is a dump site in Dungog Showground, bring a CHEMICAL TOILET ! All campsites are by the river, you can bring your own fire wood. Camping firewood can be bought in Dungog, Jo and Roger sell bagged wood $20.00 per bag and kindling, Phone 0412488982, 7 Hooke St. , look for round- a- bout with monument in the middle of it. Price is per person. Kids under 12 stay free!

Absolutely love this place. Peaceful, relaxing bliss.! Right by running water, which is cold and refreshing on a hot day. John is an awesome host. We have already booked another trip.

We absolutely enjoyed our time. Spent a lot of time in the water exploring and just kicking back and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

I'm reluctant to say how awesome this camp ground is, as we don't want too many people to know about it and keep it for ourselves, LOL. But to be honest this place of John's is fantastic! There are only 3 separate, private areas to camp right on the river where you can't hear or see the other areas there were campers (we were camping at Camp 2). The water was crystal clear and great for taking a tube down the small set of rapids. Our 5 year old grandson had a ball. The wild life was abundant and even had the local herd of friendly cattle drop in for a visit. Even though it had rained the night before we arrived, the ground was not boggy in any way, runoff seemed to be very adequate. We will defiantly be camping at John's property of Glenmoore River Camp again. Extremely Happy Campers

Absolutely incredible! Both the property and John. He was a delight to chat to and very welcoming. The camp site was pure heaven. Totally private and the river was crystal clear. Will be coming back for sure!
