Poppys Dam paddock
Firstly, I would like to mention that the campsite itself is gorgeous. There are beautiful views all around and lots of farm animals around. Perfect for families to enjoy.
The downside unfortunately for me is management.
We had arrived to check in and were told we had to wait for a specific person to show us to our spot. We had waited for around 40mins to an hour to be shown our campsite which was literally right next to the check in spot.
By the time we had "checked in", it was dark and we had to set up in the dark.
We were also unfortunate enough to be also hit by strong winds which was of course not the fault of the owners.
Overall, if there had been an extra person to assist Margaret, the experience might have been better.

Poppys Paddock
We enjoyed our stay at Poppy's Paddock. Beautiful view overlooking the mountains and the dam. A generator was even provided so we could inflate our matress. Dogs had the best time.

Great for camping with kids
Great spot. Beautiful views, heaps for the kids to explore, campfires and dogs allowed! The owners are friendly and helpful. Amenities a little lacking, but we were mostly self contained. Will definitely return!

Poppys Dam paddock
Simply devine!
We felt so welcome! Poppy's paddock was just gorgeous - those sunsets looking over the dam. We were warmly welcomed and our lovely host Jeremy kept checking we were ok and didn't need anything. A perfect base for the Lovedale vineyards and we simply can't wait to get back again. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Poppys Paddock
Matgaret’s estate was amazing, loved the private space her partner gave us right next to two beautiful horses. The sunrise from there was just amazing. The only downside was that the amenities were not clean, maybe because it was a public holiday and there sites were pretty much booked. Other than that everything was perfect.
