I had a great couple of nights staying with Ann. Although it had been raining, I was shown a nice dry spot to pitch my tent. They were super friendly and the amenities were fabulous. I’d definitely recommend paying them a visit.

Riverfront Camping at JALI serenity
We were there for 3 nights .Terrific flat sites aplenty along the Stewart River ( not recommended to swim though , unfortunately, as brackish water and so there are bull sharks ! But fish aplenty - leaping mullet) . Pretty peaceful camping with trees providing welcome shade - with us there in January when it was hot and humid after recent substantial January rains . Toilet, shower in fairly close proximity to all sites. We paid the extra to use the pool which was bliss. Good location for us to explore Diamond Head beach , Laurieton etc. Nice location for us to do nothing but read and swim one day. Annie and Mick are extremely welcoming.

Best hip camp in our own camper.
This was a great little campsite, will worth it. We stayed riverfront and get attacked by mozzies just make sure you’ve got plenty of cools going. Partner caught two flat head in the river, which Ann and Mick let us cook on their BBQ. The hots Ann and Mick are great, lovely people, you’re welcome up there for a BYO drink if you want or you can sit by your camp, whatever no pressure. I would recommend going up for a bit of a chat though and they’re lovely people. Amenities very clean. Will definitely be going back, not just to stay at that beaufulmplave they have but also to see Ann and Mick and their cute dogs and cats.
