Maalaabidi is a clothing-optional farm stay with a cabin, camping (limited power to some sites), an old hanger rec area with coffee bar, camp kitchen, antique machinery display, and a private 900mtr airstrip. You'll find great views and magical sunrises, a communal campfire, camp kitchen, hot showers, and toilets. Enjoy the recreation area where you can listen to music, get a real barista coffee or just sit around the campfire in the evening and look at the stars (we are in the astronomy capital of Australia). By day, stroll through the bush and enjoy the wildlife and wildflowers or take a drive to the many local attentions like the Warrumbungle National Park, The Sandstone Caves (a local Aboriginal significant site), Pilliga Pottery, or Crystal Kingdom. Whilst we are a clothing-optional venue, don't be discouraged if you are not one to bare all, just come with an open mind that is respectful of the choices and individuality of others.

Beginners journey of naturalism.
Beautiful spot. Graham is a great host, incredibly welcoming. If you’re curious about the naturalist lifestyle, great place to start, respectful, open minded and kind. You don’t have to if you don’t want to, and all respect remains. Best camping shower I’ve had, and graham offers barista coffee! If you’re also a musician the man’s got it all. Would recommend it to anyone!

Maalaabidi Campground: A Hidden Gem If you're seeking a tranquil and authentic camping experience, Maalaabidi Campground is a must-visit. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this campground offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of Graham, the campground's host. His in-depth knowledge of the local area was invaluable, and he was always happy to share tips and recommendations for exploring the surrounding region. His friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. The campground itself is beautifully maintained, with well-spaced campsites that provide plenty of room. The facilities are clean and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to relax by the campfire and stargaze under the vast night sky.

Best camping spot near Warrumbungle
Staying at Graham’s was one of the best camping experiences we have ever had. Our main goal was Astrophotography which the property is very well suited for. Graham is a very kind and generous host and we truly enjoyed our 2 night trip. Will definitely come back again and would recommend this place to everyone.

We loved our stay! Graham has done such a beautiful job setting up this property. The Dingo Den was a perfect blend of rustic charm and style with a nice comfy bed and everything else you need. We will definitely be back

We stayed overnight enroute to Queensland , Dingo Den is a well built and maintained cabin with an Australian outdoor shower and dunny , We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay . DD is a few Km.s from town and not off the beaten track for Victorians heading North .
