We were very happy with our stay at Misty Mountain. Great communication from the friendly, helpful owners. Plenty of space in a lush grassy paddock with views of the horses and mountain beyond. Close to wineries, beaches and more.

I had an incredible stay at Misty Mountain and can’t thank Kerren and her family enough for making me feel so welcome! The camping area is an open plot of grass, flat and well maintained, set on a stunning property with horses, cattle, and a friendly pack of pooches. There are no amenities, but a 5 min drive into Shoalhaven will get you free (cold) showers, toilets, and grills. The property is close to the main road so it was easily accessible, but also very serene and peaceful (I’m a light sleeper and wasn’t bothered by any noise from the road) - I opened my campervan curtains in the morning to the sun coming through the trees and horses grazing. I’m a solo female traveler, and I felt very safe and comfortable at Misty Mountain - wish I could have stayed longer!

Can’t fault our stay only the price for no amenities a bit over the top.

Great 1 night stay.

This campsite felt safe and the surrounding property and mountains were beautiful. Sites are reasonably close together so if you're looking to be secluded, this isn't what you're looking for. The hosts were very friendly and happy to have a chat about past and future travel as well as the history of the area. I stayed for 1 night with a dog and had a great experience.
