We are located near Manilla, which lies 45km northwest of Tamworth. You can purchase all you need at the shopping centres there, or in Manilla where you can can pick up groceries and fuel. We are suitable for caravans or motorhomes with self contained toilets and showers as we have no facilities. It is essential that visitors have these facilities. There is a waste dump station in Manilla. Our property offers flat access from the road, with plenty of room to manoeuvre. We recommend 4WDs - please message us if you are unsure about your vehicle. You are welcome to camp near the river or in a hidden valley. Swim in the river and have a camp fire. Walk in the area, see the abundance of birds and wildlife. This is a hilly and mountainous area to explore, you are welcome to go fishing along the river bank, or bring a camera as it's a photographer's delight. Very private camping areas. Enjoy listening to the crackle of the campfire in the evenings. There is access to drinking water, but no amenities so you need to be a self-sufficient camper and bring your own camping toilet/shower. Namoi Valley Escape
Our stay at Namoi Valley Escape was nothing but spectacular. Dave and Jocelyn’s hospitality was incredible, and we appreciated their knowledge and kindness. Our spot on the river had a spectacular view and the isolation from the “real world” was breath of fresh air. If you are looking to escape for a few nights, enjoy some wildlife, enjoy the property and potentially some fishing then this is the spot for you. I would recommend this spot to absolutely anybody. Thank you for your time and kindness Dave and Jocelyn and we WILL be back soon!

River front camping
Beautiful spot on the river for the self sufficient camper wanting to get away from the crowds. Very warm and welcoming hosts and a pristine site. The whole area is a hidden gem and worth visiting.

Easter camping with friends.
Enjoyable few days over Easter on Dave and Joce's property. Beautiful days and although the nights were cool we were toasty by the fire as our hosts had left a nice pile of wood for us. Our group also caught a couple of nice size cod in the river. Recent floods had affected the area but we were more than happy with the camp sites still available.

Lovely place for the self contained camper. We caught cod and cooked it on the camp fire. Can’t get fresher than that! Caring hospitable hosts.

Wish we stayed longer! Loved it!
This place is amazing! We stayed 2 nights with our dog and loved every minute of it. Wish we stayed longer! It is a fair distance to get to the property but it is definitely worth the drive. Communication from booking to arrival was amazing, when we turned up Jocelyn and Dave greeted us and took us down to the river showing us multiple spots we could set up our caravan. It is a truely beautiful spot on the river to relax and enjoy. Dave told us about a trail up the mountain so we hiked it to see amazing views of the valley (we did get reception up on the mountain). They checked up on us to make sure we were okay and needed any help with anything. They offered fresh water from their tanks if we needed to restock. Extremely generous hosts and we loved every minute of it. Definitely will be returning but for longer next time. Thanks so much for an amazing stay. There is no phone reception so be ready to disconnect and enjoy natures finest.
