Waterfront site Near and Far Yamba
We really enjoyed camping at the Waterfront site at Near and Far Yamba. The camp site was flat and nicely grassed and situated right on the river. Views were beautiful particularly at sunrise and sunset and the stars were great, lots of kangaroos and birdlife. Plenty of space to set up, and easy access to launch kayaks and fish from the shore. Power, water, a sink for washing up, and a good sized stainless steel table are all provided. A good sized fire pit and firewood are also provided. The amenities are in the hosts home and are kept very clean. The hosts Alan and Jan are friendly and approachable. Great beaches 10 to 15 minutes away at Yamba and Angourie. The Pacific hotel at Yamba is a great spot for a few beers and the Wobbly Chook has good meals and craft beers.

Great spot along the river.
Great spot to camp on the river, quiet location and yet still not for from Yamba. Plenty of good fishing spots along Oyster channel, with lots of wildlife around the area, birds, Kangaroos, crabs, fish. Amenities were very clean and tidy, plenty of room for the kids to explore and ride bikes around. Hosts were very welcoming and gave great information about the local area. Will definitely be back again as the whole family enjoyed their stay. Thanks

Amazing place. Loved it
This was the best camp experience we have had. We were a group of 4 and two dogs and it is the most serene and beautiful spot for a quiet getaway. The grounds are park land like and Jan and Allen were the most gracious and thoughtful hosts. Spotlessly clean toilets, shower and laundry facilities. Loved Allen and Jan popping past our site for a chat and advice on the area. We will be regulars here. Five stars from us. Thanks heaps Jan and Allen for welcoming us all onto your stunning property.

Mango Tree Site - Big River View
We had a wonderful, serene and relaxing stay. Alan and Jan were ideal hosts and extremely helpful and welcoming. The shower/toilet/washing facilities were great. We stayed for 3 nights with a large Maui Motorhome overlooking the Oyster Channel. Lots of beautiful wildlife to see including a group of kangaroos in the grounds. We were so sorry to leave and wish we could return. It’s a completely different experience to staying on an average campsite, and much more enjoyable. Quick drive to Yamba town and very easy to park, even with a large RV. Enormous thanks to Jan and Alan. We had a memorable time with you. Martin & Rebecca.

We had a great time at this property/ campsite. We camped direct at the river on the grass. ( the grass is great, can walk barefoot). Toilet and shower is great and clean. Possibility to do some laundry 🧺. Jan and Allen are very welcoming and helpful. Dogs can walk free. ( they might chase the kangaroos). There is a kennel if you want to go out and leave the dogs behind. It is a great place to relax and de-stress. I can highly recommend this camping spot.
