Pine Gums is so close to everything but also feels a world away from everyone. From the time you pull in, to the time you leave, the experience at Pine Gums is peaceful, rewarding and one you will always cherish and remember. With so many people coming back time and time again, bringing friends and family, this really does speak for itself. This site was previously a pine forest and was harvested back in 2018. We are clearing some ground for grazing cattle while letting some regrowth come through for the wildlife. We have plenty of kangaroos, possums, wombats just to name a few and an abundance of birdlife. There is an undercover BBQ area with a built-in fireplace and gas BBQ. There is also a proper flushing toilet. At night, sit and listen to the sounds of silence as you glance up to the stars. This spot feels a world away but still has the convenience of being only 10 minutes off the Hume Hwy and only 20 minutes from Goulburn where you can get all your daily needs. There is plenty of firewood laying around the property for the campfire so bring your saw, cut some wood, and just enjoy. No firewood is to be taken off the property. Please always consider the next camper and leave some available and ready. Pet friendly! This site offers a great camping facility away from everyone with sweeping views down over the Breadalbane plains, abundant wildlife, kangaroos, possums, wombats just to name a few. The under cover BBQ area with a in built fire (Camp cooking) and gas BBQ is an ideal spot to relax, unwind and enjoy. There is also a flushing toilet for that additional comfort. We only offer one booking at a time so you can truly enjoy this place on your own, yes, that's right, just you and your friends. At night sit and listen to the sounds of silence as you glance up to the stars. Yes, the property has the added feature of phone reception. There is some firewood laying around the property for the camp fire so bring your saw, cut some wood and just enjoy. No fire wood is to be taken off the property. With the wet conditions we have experienced it is recommended that you bring some dry wood along with you. With the wet conditions we've had 4x4 is recommended. Pet friendly! We request that you leave the property clean and tidy and take all rubbish away. Book now and enjoy.

Pine Gums via Goulburn

The covered BBQ area was a great set up, especially as we had a lot of rain on our first night. Dogs could run around off leash and there was plenty of fire wood in the area to keep the fire going as was a cold weekend. Definately needed a 4WD heading back out of the camp ground after the rain as the first hill was extremely boggy and slippery due to the orange clay and we were towing a caravan. Some young people did turn up with their 4WD and chainsaws and made a bit of noise on the opposite hill all day saturday but they did leave that night so we could enjoy the peace and quiet (I'm sure this isnt a regular occurance). The campground was gravelled so kept everything clean including the wet dogs. Sunday's sunrise was excellent to see the beautiful views for the hilltop location.

Peace and Quiet at Pine Gums

We were very impressed by the location and the facilities made available by Rodney. From the outset Rodney was a delight to deal with. The campsite with the provision of the brick shelter with the fireplace, BBQ, tables and chairs and flushing toilet and shower was perfect - it enabled us to have shelter and a lovely fire in the rain and wind which we encountered during our stay. The ability to have the site to ourselves was a huge bonus and we look forward to returning. We highly recommend Pine Gums.

Great location, very private, shelter is a blessing, fire place , flushing toilet, there is a gas bbq ( we never used it) and a shower ( didn’t use it) view’s amazing

Amazing!

Perfect campsite to disconnect and bond. Other than being surrounded by nature, cows and kangaroos, we did not see another soul in the 3 days we were there. Our children were kept busy on their mountain bikes and loved the hilly terrain. Loved that our dog could run alongside them. We truly appreciated the name Pine Gums as we see the walked from the gum trees to the pine trees - amazing amazing views. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us.
