This property is situated between Smiths Lake and the rainforests of Wallingat National Park. A 15 min drive to the beautiful Seal Rocks, Submarine Beach and Treachery Beach, 12 minutes drive to Blueys Beach, Boomerang, Elizabeth and Shelley Beaches, a 25 min drive to Foster town and also 20 min drive, further up Sugar Creek Rd. to the Whoota Whoota lookout which is located in Wallingat National Park. It is a 25 acre property that is home to an abundance diversity of flora and fauna. It's a beautiful spot for birdwatching (or listening), relaxing under the trees with a picnic, chilling in a hammock or going for a day trip to some of the beauty of the surrounding region. Some perks of the place include: Our brand new camp kitchen equiped with many conveniences of home. Large barbeque kitchen, fridge, showers. Sites with firepits. Dried, hardwood for sale at $10 per crate. The first one is complimentary! Dog friendly. Space, privacy, tranquility. **** Whether you are active or not there is so much here for you. Yes you can surf, hike, horse ride, fish, bike ride. Within 15 mins drive you have the ocean side of Seal Rocks, the Lakesides of Myall Lakes National Park, the forests of Wallingat National Park and so many more incredible places. You can venture out into the madness (particularly around holiday time) but then you can return to the magic and tranquility of your campsite. If you'd like a place where you can chill out, relax, rejuvenate your body mind or spirit, this is the place. You'll awake to the sound of our resident Kookaburras and sleep to the chorus of frogs. A friend once described it as a hundred shades of green. I adore this space and have been blessed with its surrounds and abundance for 20 years. My dream has always been to share it with others, hence the name. It is a sanctuary where humans can connect with nature.

Parkside
Camping at Parkside was an absolutely delightful experience! The campsite was enchanting, nestled amidst the wonders of nature. The symphony of wildlife sounds throughout the day and night added to the magical ambiance. The facilities were remarkable, catering to every conceivable need. Marika, with her gracious demeanor, warmly welcomed us upon arrival and provided a comprehensive tour of the campsite. In essence, Parkside offers an exceptional haven for those seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life, particularly for novice campers with limited equipment.

The Paddock
Amazing facilities
We loved camping at Marika’s place. Amazing facilities & very well kept. Marika was lovely and so accomodating, particularly with our last minute booking for our group of 2 families + 2 dogs. The shed/kitchen at the paddock was fantastic for when it was raining as it provided extra shelter for us all to hang out under. A great location halfway between boomerang/blueys & seal rocks. We would stay again next time we visit Forster!

We loved our stay, the property is so peaceful and our spot was very private. Marika and Bill were very friendly and welcoming hosts, and the firewood was much appreciated. Can’t wait to go back!

What a hidden gem! We loved staying at The Clearing with our doggie, she loved it too! It was peaceful, clean, all that you need. Amazing bird life, surrounded by nature! Marika was a lovely host. Plenty of options of where to stay on the property and they all looked great! Nice and close to all the local beaches. We will definitely be back! Thankyou !
