'Dreamy Glade'
EXPERIENCED AND KITTED 4WD ONLY
After seeing the listing and the photos and believing it would be a good campsite for myself and a group of friends to go with an 8ft by 5ft trailer. There were a few things that got me during the experience, the actual location provided is not the entrance or even the start of the trail to get to the site. The trail is beside another property for which I recieved directions through screenshots of another conversation from Peter (the owner). Once at the trail head to the entrance of Peters property his instructions had us following a very steep declined hill on very muddy and wet wheel tracks down to a creek and than following up the again very steep adjacent hill before even arriving at his gate. My friends and I had only made it 100~m from the road before encountering the steep muddy tracks which Peter had told me “4 other campers had been through”, when my vehicle with trailer began to slide of the track towards the steep drop I message Peter for some advice and assistance through the track in which I got a reply of “chock the wheels and put it in low” and “you got stuck, you get out”. My friends and I spent 4hrs on the side of the hill using logs and trees to stop our cars from sliding down the track with the help of Tom the owner of the property the track runs past before we recieved a message from Peter saying “I am 45 minutes away”. Overall an experience I would rather have not had and I would not suggest booking. The owner is not friendly, helpful or kind.

I will be back
Was fantastic right in the heart of the Aussie bush. Outskirts of Guy Fawkes National park. Really peaceful, and its not too far from Ebor. Peter is a great host.

Bluegum dreaming
Peter is an absolute legend, he went over and above to make sure we got to our site okay, and checked that we were okay after a storm the next day. We had a 2WD (definitely a 4WD only site) and the road was pretty slippery after the storm, so we setup at the first site that we reached on the property. It was magical, the land is so beautiful. So serene and sheltered, we were visited by black cockatoos and owls. Very remote, we couldn’t hear any of the other campers. A few leeches to watch out for, but that’s just the nature of this area. I can’t wait to come back in a 4by and experience the ridge and rivers. Thanks heaps Peter!

Blue gum holiday
If you are seeking solitude deep in the bush then this place is for you. We spent a lovely Easter watching bird life Twitter amongst the blue gums and living life slowly. The creek was steep to get to but not far and worth it with a small water fall! Pete is a friendly guy, we liked him instantly.
