Relax or get involved at The Peachy; an iconic, eco friendly, off-grid animal rescue farm... privately owned and publicly loved! We feed the farm animals and collect the eggs every morning at 8am so set your alarm and join in the fun. Gypsy, your onsite hostess with the mostest, will take you on a fun-filled journey where everyone learns something! The dam is back in action after the drought and then an invasive weed taking over. There are kayaks here and they are free for everyone to enjoy. There is a nature playground for the kids, an outdoor bathtub (book with us after you have booked your site $45 or book as a 'camp site'), wood-fired pizza oven (book in the 'extras') and a well equiped community kitchen. The Peach Farm is centrally located within a 20 minute drive to close by attractions. Adventure; 4 wheel drive at Shark Bay. Swim; Iluka's famous beaches. Walk; Iluka Heritage Rainforest, from the lush rainforest to the amazing views at The Bluff. Explore; Yamba, Angourie, the Scottish town of Maclean. Our eccentric affectionate mix of farm animals will win you over in seconds especially if you grab some feed from your hosts. All of our loving animals have been rescued as a tiny baby or taken in when their owners could no longer care for them. Each site has a picnic table and a fire-pit and you can book a camp oven package if you would like to engage in some outdoor cooking. It's fun, relaxing and nothing beats a camp oven stew! Our community kitchen is a hub for get togethers and yarns, well equipped with a gas cooktop, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, a BBQ, fridge/freezer, and plenty of tables. There are fresh herbs and eggs when in plentiful supply. Please use the worm bin for all your kitchen scraps. We have an amazing composting loo but no showers yet. We are pet friendly however we do ask that you have your best friends on a leash AT ALL TIMES and please do not get too close to the alpacas, they are protectors and will become uneasy and distressed. We strongly believe in 'leaving no trace' so please be mindful of our animals, other happy campers and 'take only memories leave only footprints'. “The peach from can only be accessed heading north on the highway. If coming from the North take the Iluka exit and then just loop back to head north - 1.5km turn off is on the left straight off the Highway!"

Papa Don't Peach - Site 2
we really liked our stay. There are a couple of things I will mention within this review, these can been seen as obstacles for some or not at all if prepared for them. The first one being the highway noise. For us who were not prepared and used to quiet found this challenging and a rookie mistake on our part. The other being the distance of the provided compost toilet and kitchen/relax zone from the camp sites. Again a non issue if you do not have bathroom urgency or your own, same goes for the kitchen. This was not an issue for us but thought it worth mentioning. Gypsy the lady who is the caretaker is fantastic. She came and introduced herself in the morning and invited us to help feed the animals. Our son was very shy and chose not to partake despite loads of encouragement. We did enjoy watching and chatting non the less. She is very approachable and non intrusive. Our son enjoyed the playground and spending time with the rabbits. The provided fire pit and picnic table were a welcomed bonus. This time we did not use the kayaks because we did day trips to the local areas and it was too cold later on for us but again a great free addition for sure.

Site 1 - Millions of Peaches
This was a lovely site nestled right in amongst the orchard trees. It wasn't immediately clear from the signage, but when you enter the property and see the sign for millions of peaches you need to keep driving around the end of the row of trees. Positive notes: the kitchen is well equipped. My kids loved feeding the farm animals in the morning. It was lovely and quiet despite being close to the highway. I would stay here again
