WINDY BANKS Hidden away on the river, beyond the bush, you will find a very private secluded 7 acres which will give you the privacy and the interaction with nature you seek. Stunning sunsets over the river and the rustling of gum trees in the breeze will make you feel like you are the only one on earth. Birds will sing you a song as you cook up a meal over the fire. If your lucky you might even see the local dolphins have a play.

Disappointed
Quite an average site - while the view is lovely, there isn’t too much more to it, and the sites are not fantastic. The site I was supposed to stay at had a washing line with some other peoples things there and quite a mess….. I feel the place was over priced and the images online don’t really display the actual setup etc

Very peaceful location
Very nice tranquil off-grid camping location, ideal for relaxing and beautiful view of the river. Will definitely recommend staying there.

Site 2 Riverside Campsite
The views were amazing! We had a great time on Mikes land even though we thought we would end up in the river a few times with all the rain! Once the rain stopped the water receded quite quickly. Mozzies were pretty bad but nothing repellant and coils couldn’t handle!

Quiet Off-grid camping
If want a place that is quiet surrounded by a few birds and boat or dolphin that might glide by, then this place is for you. On the high side of the river, with a large block to set up. If you don't mind a trip along an unsealed gravel road (fine for any cars) and you are completely set up for off-grid camping then this private setting is for you. There is access to the river for kayaks or a small boat or we took a short drive to Hawks Nest for swim at Jimmy's Beach.
