River camping/Mountain backdrop
Great spot at the end of the trail all to yourself.
Massive rock formation as a backdrop, cows grazing the paddock, and a river at your doorstep, you couldn't ask for more.
Sleeping to the sounds of water flowing from the river, waking up to birds chirping quietly and mist rolling through was amazing.
Friendly caretaker who likes a good yarn and was helpful with his knowledge of the area.
Coming back in 4 weeks to stay again!
Cheers guys.

Absolutely stunning place! So much to take in! Be sure to screen shot and print all details before coming, near 0 reception means extra adventures!
I'll be back with the family soon and often. Incredible. Thank you for making such a place available.

Awesome weekend getaway
Had a fantastic weekend on Steve and Julie's land. Spacious, quiet, plenty of wildlife and a decent toilet amenity. Our group had a great time around the fire, stargazing, taking in the views of the Byangee Walls at sunset and walking along the river. Instructions to get down there were great and we had no problem finding the place. Next time I would love to bring a kayak and do more river exploration. It was lovely to meet Steve and I wish him all the best 😊 thank you!!

If you are looking for somewhere completely off grid, with no phone or internet service, a fabulous riverside camp and a challenging drive in & out (with a 17ft off road van), then this is the place for you!! We arrived at night and woke up to amazing views of the Clyde river from our bedroom window. The site is very shady and private and river access from this site was easy.
If you rely on solar, you may want to bring a solar blanket to place out in the sun.
We met Steve on Sunday morning and he was extremely helpful and had some good knowledge of the surrounding mountains and the local wildlife, particularly wombats! Whilst we didn’t see a platypus, Steve assured us that they do live in the river along with bass, crays and eels.
We will definitely be back to check out one of Steve & Julie’s other sites when the weather is warmer.

Camping in tranquility
We loved Palm Cove, easy site to get on and off, nice and flat with the river a few steps in front of our camp with magnificent views of the mountain. Quick walk around the property to cast your eye on “The Castle”. Was very special.
Kayaking the river was very special, seeing the wild life along the way, nice clear water swim holes were a lovely treat.
Cows in the paddock were at home visiting us while having our down times.
Little rain night before made for an eventful next day, not being able to get my car up the hill. Thank goodness for Steve and Julie, they went above and beyond to get me out. Enjoy your wine!
Directs were very clear getting to the property.
Thank you for a fabulous stay.
