Our farm is an agritourism farm that offers seasonal events, educational workshops, a petting zoo and animal therapy for a fee. It is free to walk around the farm and visit our animals, but there is a cost to go inside the barnyard for a petting zoo experience. We don't have hookups, so bring a generator if you need it. If you need to fill up your RV water tank, we charge $10. A Grill Pavilion is available to rent for $20 extra. See photos. Propane, grill, table and party lights included. Pitch your tent on the edge of the woods or close by the stream in the woods. If you enjoy watching wildlife, you're in for a treat...this magical portion of the farm provides a forest cover for songbirds, owls, deer, red-shouldered hawks, both red and gray fox and wild turkey.   We allow check-ins during the week after 12 noon, perfect for folks passing through and just need a safe and quiet place to park for the night and not interested in visiting the farm store, the barnyard or the rest of the farm, which are closed during week. Weekends from 10-4 we open the Farm to visitors (campers and non-campers alike) to visit our animals and our Farm Store with a variety of groceries, supplies, gifts, and critter snacks so you can feed your choice of animals!   While we are dog-friendly, we also observe a dog-free zone closer to the barn. We have a complimentary 1-1/2 acre off-leash dog park just steps away from all 3 sites. Our large grassy field can accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers, and RVs under 30'. There is 1 maintained porta potty shared by 3 sites. Our Farm offers a camping experience in a pasture just steps away from our barnyard, farm store and Snack Shack and now offering a large fenced in, off-leash area for your dog(s)! We are open to the public on weekends only so if you want to experience our petting zoo, and go beyond the camping area, plan on checking in Fri or Sat so yoy can visit the Farm. If you just need a quiet, private place to park during your journey, we welcome you too during the week! Set up your site in our grassy pasture on the edge of the woods and listen for wildlife. We have songbirds, owls, deer, red-tailed hawks, squirrels, red fox and wild turkey we share our land with. Our farm is an agritourism farm. On Saturday and Sunday, we open the Farm gates to the public to enjoy our farm and petting zoo. Our Snack Shack opens weekends and sells hot dogs, drinks and ice cream. Our Farm store opens weekends too but you can pre-order from the amenities list if you arent coming on a weekend and need delivery to your campsite. Whether you are a tent, pop-up camper, car camper or prefer r motor homes or travel trailers, you are welcome! While we want you to explore, we ask that you do not go through any closed gates.  The camping field will be on your left as you go up the driveway, and will have 2 open gates with a Guest Parking sign.

This is our go to place when we make the trip from the Eastern Shore of Virginia to Asheville, NC. We split the trip into two pieces and stop here for the night. There is some traffic noise but it doesn't bother Karen and I always use earplugs when sleeping in a tent so it doesn't bother me either. Thank You Cheryl! Richard and Karen

It was a good stay, however the porta potty could definitely use a deep clean. The space was nice, we were only met with 1 other couple camper, but if it was a busy place there would be no privacy. Was a good stay though and place is kept up well! Host was very nice.

Peaceful and rainy day :-)
I enjoyed my stay at Brookhaven Mill Farm. I was the only camper (a bonus). Even though it rained, it was nice to hear the rain hit on top of my campervan. Thanks Cheryl for your hospitality. I'll be back soon.

It was a lovely, quiet pasture with adorable farm animals saying hello as I arrived. It was exactly as described and just what I was looking for.
