Our 10 acres is part of a larger family property bought in the early 1960s. There were no neighbours, no roads, no development, no nothing! My parents developed the property, ran livestock and to this day the property remains the same with my 94 year old mother still living on the larger part of the property with us siblings living around.Set on 10 acres in natural bush under gum trees in a spacious, private secure area. Lots of birdlife, especially galahs and cockatoos and at night you may hear the curlews.  This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, and rubbish/recycling facilities. We offer access to wifi, however it is not always reliable. Power and water available. Enjoy the evenings warming your toes around the firepit. Dog friendly with a large fenced area for dogs to run free. Dog sitting services and boarding available for a fee. Please ensure your pet is on a leash at all times. A clear area is available for those who need solar. You will be able to see amazing sunsets across the paddock and sometimes the donkeys living next door on family property will come to the fence to be fed. We are a retired couple living the rural lifestyle yet very close to all amenities eg shopping centre, dining out, hospital, markets etc. Bunnings is just down the road! We are 20 minutes to Darwin city centre and being locals for many years are able to help you with all sorts of local information. Power and water supplied.

Beautiful hip camp
A beautiful place to stay while visiting Darwin. Peaceful place to relax after a day out exploring. Power and water a bonus and lovely hosts. Only a short drive into Darwin CBD and 5 minutes from supermarkets, cinema, shops, and the Palmerston water park. Kids were comfortable to ride there bikes around and we always felt safe and secure.

Camp Wallaby
We loved our stay with Melissa & Steve. Extremely welcoming & helpful hosts. On their property you feel like you are in the bush but you are only minutes from Palmerston shops & services. Darwin is an easy drive for all your sightseeing. Sites with shade or sun, power or non power for whatever you require. We definitely recommend Wallaby Camp & will return.

Camp Wallaby
Lovely hosts and a great place to stay only 15 minutes from centre of Darwin. Nice shaded sites close to the homestead, powered sites with water supply and a welcoming menagerie of roosters, chooks, mules and other bird life. The hosts are keen dog lovers and regularly participate in dog shows. Well behaved dogs are welcome. We would happily stay again next visit to Darwin.

Steve was welcoming enough, lovely property with animals roaming about. We had power which was great. Would stay again.

A tick for wallaby camp
Great place lot of room when we were there. Has water and power but not toilets or showers. Melissa was a good host, we even scored a jar of homemade jam off of her husband. Close to acmajoe centre.
