We are a young family of 2 adults, 2 kids (10 & 8) and 1 friendly dog who welcome you to enjoy our 5 acre slice of paradise, surrounded by native bush and tropical gardens you will find Herbert hideaway, within is a 1 acre fenced property for your use, with power, water, communal kitchen, communal bathroom and a partially enclosed patio for your use with ample space for the biggest of vans. A short walk to the main house reveals the kids play equipment, tree house and the pool for those balmy lazy days or just a dip after a big day sight seeing. Situated within walking distance of faiths lagoon and blackjungle nature reserve, Herbert hideaway is a gateway for the avid bushwalker or bird watcher, go for s stroll & enjoy the endless trails in the adjacent wilderness. Located just 13min to Humpty Doo, 12min to Coolalinga shopping centre, 35min to Darwin CBD, 75min to kakadu NP entrance, 64min to litchfield NP and 50min to corroboree billabong. Undercover parking for boats, bikes etc can be arranged with prior notice. An air conditioned bedroom is available for campers use if your van is being serviced or repaired at no extra cost ( No linen included) We are a non commercial camp ground. Not all sites will be occupied at any one time regardless of booked status, this is to ensure guests enjoy the peace and quiet herbert hideaway offers, please reach out for further clarification. A very nice Camp with lovely hosts and a gorgeous, well behaved dog. We had access to a kitchen, shower and toilet with fantastic hot water as well as power and water to our vans.

Safe and secure spacious camping
Thank you, Stephen for your hospitality and the use of your great block of land and amenities. It was all we could’ve asked for with plenty of space and privacy. Good location between Litchfield and Darwin City if you’re ready for exploring. Say goodbye to your beautiful dog Narla. She is an absolute gem.
