This property has been in my family for 5 generations.  There was a house and a cabin on it at one time, but now it just has the old cemetery and a small corral.  The cemetery is notable, it being the final resting place of Wilson N. Jones (1827-1901), principal chief of the Choctaw Nation.   Learn more about this land: Have a great stay. This is the first time my folks have let anyone stay on the farm. So please be respectful of the land. No trash/litter. You can see the stars at night in a way that is impossible in the cities. It’s really worth the drive. Perhaps bring a telescope! There are the remnants of long gone houses and a worn out barn. Interesting to look at. But be careful, your car might get stuck unless it has 4x4. There is a creek that runs along the backside to the South of the property. Sometimes it has water, sometimes not, depends on how much rain we’re getting. We only allow one camping party at a time, this ensures you get to enjoy the property undisturbed. It is primitive camping, no services, no facilities. I have to say….the most peaceful secluded spot I’ve ever stayed. I’ve been RV’g six months of the year in a small travel trailer for 5 years traveling between 7 and 10,000 miles each year. This will be an annual return.

It's a nice basic piece of property. Trees and open areas. The weekend we went someone had a large party. Could hear teenagers with loud music and reving cars all night. Overall it was beautiful at night and any other weekend it would have been perfect.

I loved camping here, very spacious place and you can see so many stars. Definitely a great place to be if you are wanting to just camp and be with nature.
