Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of Murray Grey Cattle or set aside for regeneration. Dog friendly. Simle composting/drop toilet available. All camp sites have access to flat areas for tents etc. unisex compost toilets, swimming dams and reticulated dam water. This listing caters for groups and large family bookings. You're welcome to book out both sites for up to 20 guests. Children under seven years of age are FREE! So, please so do not include them in your booking numbers, but do let us know of them via a message. We have also just laid gravel on the roads, so we are all set to go for a potentially wet summer. We are a family of six working towards creating a Bio-dynamic/Organic farm and wildlife sanctuary with Chooks, Cows, a Horse, Veggie Garden and Red Claw Crayfish coming soon. Please let us know if you or your children would like to help us out during your stay - anything from feeding the animals, weeding the garden or removing lantana. There is plenty to do within the farm itself and Noosa/Peregian/Eumundi just a short drive away - the best of both worlds. Please be aware that the total length for vehicle and caravan combo is 34 ft - from the rear of the van to the front of the car.

Good for a rest stop
Firstly, great location near Coolum, reasonably cheap and a good host who communicated well and met you for directions to your campsite. However… it’s not really what I expected to be honest. I felt like the campsite we were on felt like we weren’t really on a campsite, maybe more like a rest stop. It was the one tucked behind the main larger site. The grass was quite tall (Gretta did mention her mower was broken) and you didn’t get any views of the dam :( Some glass bottles were left around and broken inflatable mattresses by the larger dam which was a shame to see. I also messaged Gretta the day prior to see if we could organise for the kids to feed the animals and help out on the farm, but no response… It was nice the cows came through the site Sunday morning, cute! Would only really recommend if you need somewhere to rest on a road trip.

Lovely site and pretty lake. Quiet evening with other sites booked. Close to Eumundi and Noosa, the market at Eumundi was great!

Disappointed Stay.
Disappointing. Entrance and accessibly difficult with wheel tracks washed out. Minimal maintenance to farm, meaning the grass levels were at unacceptable high levels. Over hanging branches across wheel tracks scratched our vehicle. Advertised activities of animal feeding were unavailable, and on enquiring had not been available for 12 months. We originally booked for 2 nights with the hope of staying a third, but pulled out and went elsewhere. Will not be recommending.

Perfect location.
Greta was super helpful making sure we got a site that suited what we were looking for. Site 5 was private with a view of the dam. We enjoyed having a dip on the hot days floating among the lily pads . Excellent location to visit key places on the Sunshine Coast.
