Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of Murray Grey Cattle or set aside for regeneration. Dog friendly. Simle composting/drop toilet available. All camp sites have access to flat areas for tents etc. unisex compost toilets, swimming dams and reticulated dam water. This listing caters for groups and large family bookings. You're welcome to book out both sites for up to 20 guests. Children under seven years of age are FREE! So, please so do not include them in your booking numbers, but do let us know of them via a message. We have also just laid gravel on the roads, so we are all set to go for a potentially wet summer. We are a family of six working towards creating a Bio-dynamic/Organic farm and wildlife sanctuary with Chooks, Cows, a Horse, Veggie Garden and Red Claw Crayfish coming soon. Please let us know if you or your children would like to help us out during your stay - anything from feeding the animals, weeding the garden or removing lantana. There is plenty to do within the farm itself and Noosa/Peregian/Eumundi just a short drive away - the best of both worlds. Please be aware that the total length for vehicle and caravan combo is 34 ft - from the rear of the van to the front of the car.

Buranga Farm
I booked 2 nights The tracks to site 4 was rough for my motorhome, then I was asked to shift to site 2 for the second night, site 2 was only a narrow, rough track, which was difficult to turn around, there was someone parked up the track, if I stayed I would of blocked them in, so I did not stay the second night, went somewhere else, overall, better suited to small vans and 4x4

Excellent little campground, perfect weekend getaway. The sites are spacious and nicely spaced out, the scenery is gorgeous. This is the best bang for buck hipcamp I've been to yet. Will certainly be going back.

Gretta was such an amazing host, she greeted us at the gate of the property and gave us the rundown of the area (bonus that her dog is absolutely beautiful and greets campers as they arrive). The property is beautiful with a stunning dam and canoe for visitors to use, and fire pits established which was great.
