Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Enjoy a convenient and relaxing base to discover the best of Hervey Bay at our 150-acre cattle grazing farm located just 3km outside of town, with plenty of space for campers. To access the farm, turn right off the Maryborough Highway into Chapel Rd, then turn right at the picnic table beside the bikeway, and do not drive over the cattle grid. The entrance is right beside the grid with reflectors on each post. If you're having trouble finding the entrance, please call Ray at 0459247041 or Judy at 0459247042. We offer numerous camping sites on cleared land lined by trees, near to our gully and seasonal creek. Each site is private and offers plenty of space. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Campfires are permitted, but please BYO firepit, and there is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect and split yourself. Pets are welcome too! Kids under 5 stay free and don't need to be included in the booking group count. Check-in is welcome after 9 am and you can depart anytime.

      Absolutely fantastic place for set up for a few nights, plenty of room, plenty of fire wood. Peace and quiet, lovely place . Will stay again.

      Great location and close proximity to the town of Hervey Bay. The grass was however very long and is in desperate need of a slash.

      Was a beautiful mix of private, quiet and rural, yet so close to the centre of Hervey Bay. Ray was absolutely lovely to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble, and we loved being next to a field of cows to talk to

      Great little spot close to Hervey Bay if you like some space. Great coffee in walking distance and bike track. Ray and Judy loving people very accommodating and caring.

      Best campground in Hervey Bay for off grid campers & caravans looking for their own space & privacy. Pet friendly, fires permitted, 1000l water tanks available free of charge. Rural location just a few km from al the shops and the center of Hervey Bay. Highly Recommend for independent campers & caravans.
