PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE 6 SITES WITH EACH SITE HAVING A LEFT AND A RIGHT OPTION. LEFT AND RIGHT IS AS YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE CREEK. ALL SITES ARE NEXT TO EACH OTHER ON THE CREEK, STARTING AT 1L 1R 2L 2R 3L 3R 4L 4R 5L 5R 6L 6R. ALL SITES HAVE CREEK FRONTAGE. ALL CAMPERS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN PORTABLE TOILET. Christmas Creek Bush Retreat enjoys absolute creek frontage on the banks of the crystal clear everflowing Christmas Creek. Perfect for kayaking, floating on an inflatable lounge or swimming in the warmer months or to simply watch and listen to the rapids. The property boasts 160 acres with camp sites situated on a large flat well maintained grassy paddock, all sites look out to the creek and mountains beyond. Easy access for 2WD and 4WD vehicles with plenty of room to turn around. Campers MUST be fully self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities. Porta-loos are available to hire at additional cost for your stay, please message for pricing. Please place all waste in bin provided. Please ensure all waste is bagged. Dog friendly, however ALL dogs must be on a lead at ALL times and picked up after. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits ONLY, but may be subject to fire bans. Situated a 1/2 hour drive South of Beaudesert, following the signs to Rathdowney and turning onto Christmas Creek Road that veers to the left. 26kms along the very picturesque Christmas Creek Road and you arrive at a little bit of paradise in the Scenic Rim. So much to see and do in the area, a short drive to the Lost World Tourist Drive and Tommerups Dairy to name a few. Further along Christmas Creek Road takes you past the Christmas Creek Cafe and onto Lamington National Park and bushwalks to the Stinson Memorial Crash Site and Larapinta Falls. What a fantastic little getaway spot for the weekend! We had sites 6R & 6L which were down the end & bigger sites, which suited us perfectly as there was 6 adults & 4 kids. Plenty of room to spread out & come together in the middle for our camp fire. The creek was an absolute hit with the kids to cool off (adults too). Caralyn & her husband were fantastic from the booking process thru to being on site ensuring everything was ok for us, highly recommended just from their service. They have firewood available & portaloos to hire if you aren’t set up with a toilet which is a great idea. We will certainly be back now we’ve found this great little spot. Thank you again for having us & hope we see you again soon

Beautiful relaxing location.
My wife and I along with our 2 dogs just spent 4 wonderful nights at this beautiful campground. The grounds are well kept with large sites to accommodate even the biggest caravan if needed. Also each site has its own dedicated fire pit and firewood and ice is available for purchase on site. Each site fronts the running clear waters of Christmas Creek which has some shallow locations as well as deeper holes for a swim if you want to. Our dogs did...they loved it ! The owners were lovely hosts and come around each afternoon for a quick chat to see if everything is OK and to see if you need any firewood or ice but they are in no way intrusive which is nice. We highly recommend Christmas Creek Bush Retreat and we can see we will be returning in the future.

Tent Camping - We had an amazing time here. There were no mozzies when we visited and the creek was refreshing. The site was well maintained and the owners really lovely
