Fnq blooms is a Tropical flower Farm. The 52 acre property is situated at the foothills of Queensland's tallest mountain, Mount Bartle Frere standing at 1622mt. Exclusive Camp creek-side at FNQ Blooms, a tropical flower farm situated in the rainforest. Campers will love exploring the crystal clear creeks and waterfalls all around the area within 10 minutes drive. Our Tropical Flower Farm is a 52-acre property situated at the foothills of Mt Bartle about one hour drive south of the Cairns International Airport. We grow an extensive variety of tropical Heliconia and Ginger for use in the Australian Cut Flower market. Our farm is completely self-sustainable. We have a waterfall that generates our power through Hydroelectricity and gravity-fed water from a natural spring. Just 20 minutes from the farm is the township of Babinda.

Picture Postcard Perfect
We stayed at Jodie’s fabulous Hipcamp whilst visiting the Babinda Harvest Festival. The camp site was perfect, and so peaceful and private. The stream is picture postcard pretty and the water so clear and clean. Although the water was very cold we swam a couple of times. There are 3 camp spots that you can choose between and all have little fire pits. We managed to get a fire going the first night we were there, but it rained the other nights (it does that a lot in the tropics). Take your own firewood if you’re wanting a fire and cross your fingers that you get a couple of dry days. Jodie was very friendly and we had a couple of lovely chats with her. Communication with Jodie was great despite the somewhat limited phone reception (don’t count on there being good mobile service). We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jodie’s place and would definitely recommend it to others.

Private Camping Flowers/Creek
Beautiful property, beautiful camp spot and beautiful hosts. The 4WD only 'Special' spot down by the crystal clear running creek with swim holes and own waterfall, absolutely worth it. 100% private and able to set up a camp fire. We had a troopy and a small pop up dome tent that fit well on the flat spot by the creek. We unfortunately got stuck down there the next morning as it rained overnight and was too slippery to get out (mind you we were 3 tonne heavy!). Jodie and her husband were more than accommodating and dragged our butts out with their tractor, offered a towel and a cuppa and allowed us to unload and reload our truck in their shed out of the rain. We can't thank you enough. We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back ourselves. Thanks guys!

My idea of heaven
What a treasure we have stumbled on here. With my love of tropical flowers it was always going to be good . Throw in an absolutely wonderful host, the clearest stream I’ve swam in for a very long time WITH its own waterfall and 2 host Dogs that are absolute gentleman & watch the magic unfold . We’ve learned about growing tropical fruit too . Do yourselves a huge favour & stay for at least 3 nights but not when I want to be here as it’s only one or two camps at a time & I want it to my self . This place is the perfect Hipcamp .
