We welcome you to our peaceful farm retreat. Each site has lots of room and a fire pit, there is potable water available and porta loos, shower too made out of a horse float, which is for guests who are not self-contained. Have a look though it is quite cute. We have 7 gorgeous Scottish Highlands, the Scottish folk pronounce it "Heilen Coos" so that's how we say it, I'm not spelling it wrong 🤩😆You'll meet Kelvin the Scottish Highland Bull, Oakley her calf Lucy, Willow and her calf Ferdinand (Ferdi), and our new additions Dusty and Maddi, they can be both fun and relaxing to watch doing zoomies around the yard, swimming in the dam or chilling under a tree 😁 Keep in mind from December to March we have hot, rainy summers. For the adventurous campers who use swags/tents, we suggest a stretcher and a gazebo with walls for a little comfort. Some areas need 4wd also. Check in is after 1pm and check out is strictly before 10.30am, we promise you will get your 'Heilen Coo' fix 😝 We have Souvineers and firewood please bring cash 😍 Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running. Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉 Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe. Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties. Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience. 6 Kms in at our historic Childers there is a Woolworths, IGA, great pubs for lunch, cafes and bakeries, plus a swimming pool, museum, snakes down under and Woodgate beach 25 mins away.

Peaceful farm-stay.

Peaceful with the cutest cows and the friendliest dogs around! Chrissy and Duane make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Sites are well laid out and have a fire pit each. Even with the very wet weather we had, we would highly recommend going just to feed those cows, see the sheep, goats, chickens. The town of Childers is under 10 min away and Bundaberg is under an hour. There is a cute unique shower and a couple of toilets if required. Thank you Chrissy and Diane for making your home available to us to visit.

Great Place.

Chrissy and Duane’s land is a fantastic spot for a peaceful getaway. They were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. Yellowstone

Hands down the best camp ground, it is SO peaceful yet so close to Childers. We where super lucky and had the campgrounds to ourselves. Ran by 2 amazing people who are very welcoming and helpful. They were more than happy to explain things about the farm and the Animals. They gave the kids activities to do and helped them feed and brush the coos. If you don’t mind some reeds there is a nice and refreshing dam. The animals are free range and super friendly! Felt super safe with the 2 dogs there keeping an eye on the runnings. We cannot wait to go back and will be staying longer next time!! 5/5 ⭐️
