Gums Area (Unpowered & Undesignated)
The location was great! We stayed in the gums area which is the furthest from all the camp facilities but probably also one of the quieter areas! The lake was beautiful (would be perfect for activities in summer), and the bathroom/shower facilities were better than expected and kept clean. The pub on site was also handy for an afternoon drink. We’ll definitely be back!

Couldn't Recommend it enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️
My husband & I really enjoyed our stay here what a wonderful experience. So many activities for children. Canoes, golf Frisbee, fishing, live music from 6:00 - 8:00pm Happy hour from 2:30 - 4:00pm we ordered a pizza from the bistro it was so good. Some nice walks with abundant wild life. Everyone seemed to obey the time curfew which made everyone's stay happy. 😃

Winter swag stay
Gorgeous location for our low effort tent and swag camp. Perfect weather for a Stand up paddle board, which we hired (unfortunately the attendant mistakenly gave us kayak paddles so we it was a pretty hard slog with the very short paddles 😅) Enjoyed the brewery and how easy to have some meals onsite so we didn’t have to bring all the cooking things. Decent camp kitchen, drinkable water, kettle, shared commercial sized fridge, pretty good toilets (though ran out of hand and loo paper at night which wasn’t replaced until later in the morning) Showers are clean and tidy and pretty good for a campsite but inadequate. Water pressure is good, temperature is good, could not get the soap off with the tiny shower head. Restaurant/bar staff were great, very welcoming and personable. Live music was good for a relaxing evening. No small meals, some restaurants call them "seniors meals". Could rebrand the kids ones as kids/small meals.

Mid winter weekend
This is a Beautiful setting, practical facilities, being able to buy meals there was handy for the less prepared or just needing a break from planning among us. We enjoyed the walks, birds and wildlife. A really nice balance of nature and creature comforts. It was 8 degrees overnight, and dry; the fireplace and live music were welcome at the brewery. We booked two sites online to comply with the rules of one car per site and were allocated two sites away from each other. We did wonder why they couldn’t locate us together, even when we asked about it on arrival as there were many empty sites around both of us. Also, for the corner site on the roadway we were lucky to have a 4wd to park to block the road and think some bolards were needed on the corner campsite for safety. Already considering our next visit!
