Jack's Place is the perfect location for those seeking a peaceful and serene camping experience. Our site is located just 5 minutes away from Toogoolawah Town and is situated on 40 acres of beautiful and lush bushland. Multiple sites are available, all of which follow alongside a picturesque creek that runs throughout the property. We offer a spacious and flat grassy area to park your van after a long day of driving. Our campsite is ideal for those who wish to enjoy the quiet and tranquil surroundings while taking in a beautiful sunset, surrounded by an abundance of birdlife. Town is a short 5 minute drive with an IGA, Pub, Cafe, Service Station, Water Station and Dump site. Access to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and only a short drive to Somerset Dam. For those travelling in large groups, please contact us to discuss your requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure that your camping experience at Jack's Place is unforgettable. Guests must be fully self contained with their own cassette style chemical toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Camping with animals
We absolutely loved our camping experience, although the river was not full, there were lovely views and pools of water everywhere. We had visits from yhe 3 horses on the property which was a highlight for me. Norm welcomed us and keeps a beautifully maintained property. The camp site was mown, each site has its own fire pit, quite spacious. We could see other campers but did not affect us. Will camp again.

It's rustic and peaceful with good flat grassy areas, there was friendly Gemma 🐎 and fiesty Dude🐴too. Norm and Hazel were warm and helpful☺️

Definitely one of the best off grid camping spots you will find in the area. I have been out to jacks a few times now, I essentially love going by myself with my dog. Very relaxed with plenty of space, if your looking for a quite hassle free time this is the place for you.

3rd time here and will definitely be back. Quiet, relaxing and perfect for a weekend getaway. Hosts are amazing and very friendly and accommodating. Totally recommend if you are fully self contained and want to just sit and do nothing except enjoy the wildlife and relax.
