Kenilworth Rural Camping is a quiet, family friendly private camping area in the heart of Kenilworth, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Adjacent to the Charles Street Mary River parklands, this 5 acre block has beautiful drive through, flat grassy sites. Shady or open spaces with a seasonal water hole on the property, 150mtrs from the Mary River, through the park or a 5 minute walk to town (600mtrs to the pub!). We have 5 camping sites, each suitable to any size caravans, campers, tents etc. Each site has the capacity to fit 3 caravans or equivalent and up to 10 guests. Fire pits at all sites. Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet/shower set up and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. Please do not book if you do not have your own toilet. Please , nothing is to be burnt in the firepits other than firewood. No glass bottles or can's at all. Dogs must be on a leash at ALL times and must be cleaned up after. Family Group bookings welcome! Strictly no party groups. *All guests must be added to the booking request. Children under 12 are free but please ensure you include them in with the booking request. *The Mary River, and the water hole water levels are determined on rain fall.*

Luscious green paddocks with beautiful large trees surrounding you and so much space to yourselves, he doesn't overcrowd the camp spots 🙂 An easy short walk to the Mary river (which is great for a little swim) as well as to the nearby shops including the well known bakery and dairy, plus the pub! Dogs allowed as the sites which is a bonus.

Lovely setting, very peaceful. Had the entire place to ourselves the first night. 2 minute walk into town.

Peaceful space
Amazing space within walking distance to town. We booked site 3, and would choose to stay again. At times we forgot there were other sites booked because it was so peaceful. A bonus to have a fire pit on each site, and the grass was very well maintained!!

Kenilworth camping
We had a great weekend here. The grounds were immaculate and there was plenty of space for each campsite. It's a short walk into Kenilworth where it's a must to visit the bakery. The Mary river is also only a couple of minutes walk and was great to cool off in. Highly recommended!
